Avneet's POV:
Yesterday when Noor had gone to the set, I had to leave for this hospital which is a bit far from our house, but close to the hospital I work in. There are many patients due to the flood which occurred a few days ago in a nearby area and the doctors weren't able to manage so many patients so they called me and some other doctors in a hurry. After 3-4 hours I will leave for home. They called in such a hurry that I messed the whole room while searching for my things. I had messaged Ashnoor so that she doesn't worry about me. Right now I am in my cabin as I just finished an operation. The phone of the cabin rang.
Phone conversation;
??: Hello. This is Dr.Rao.
Avu: Yes, Dr.Rao.
Dr.Rao: Avneet you will have to reach the hospital within 20 minutes. An officer has been shot and the other doctor who treats these has gone to another state as they had to shift him there.
Avu: Sure. I'll reach in fifteen minutes.
Conversation ends.
I quickly leave for the hospital. On the way I said the receptionist to inform the person who owns to hospital about it. Mr. Rao owns the hospital where I work. I reached within ten minutes. I quickly get ready for the operation, after greeting Dr. Rao I went to the operation room. I was shocked and confused to see that Siddharth was the patient. The operation was successfully completed in 1 hour. Outside the operation room I saw Noor, her parents and my parents there. They looked shocked after seeing me. I removed my gloves and mask.
Ash: Avu, tu yaha. [Avu, you here?]
Avu: Ha woh mujhe phone aaya tha ki emergency hai isliye mai idhar aa jau. Aur Siddharth abhi thik hai. Usko goli kisne maari? [Yes I got a call that there is an emergency here so I am needed. And Siddharth is fine now. Who shot him?]
Ash: Wo sab chod tu kal shaam se kaha thi? Aur tere room mein saaman idhar udhar kyu pheka hua tha? [Leave all that where were you since yesterday evening? And why was your room so messed up?]
Avu: Maine tujhe message bheja toh tha ki mujhe kisi aur hospital mein bulaya hai, waha flood tha kuch din pehle isliye waha bahut saare patients hai. Aur wo mai jaldi mein thi isliye apna saaman dhundte wakt room mein bikhera ho gaya. [I had messaged you right that I have to go to another hospital, there was a flood there few days ago so many patients are there. And I was in a hurry so my room got messed up while searching for my things.]
Ash: Par mujhe tera koyi message nahi aaya hai. [But I didn't receive any message of yours.]
Avu: Mai baadme dekhti hu abhi mujhe check karne jaana hai, Siddharth ko hosh aa gaya hoga. [I'll see that later now I should go and check, Siddharth might have gained consciousness.]
I entered the room and saw that Siddharth had woken up. On the sound of the door opening and closing he looked at me with the same shocked expression that I recieved outside.
Avu: Mai bhoot nahi hu jo aise dekh rahe ho tum sab. [I am not a ghost that all of you are looking at me like this.]
I heard the sound of someone chuckling so turned around to see two nurses in the room I didn't realize were there when I entered.
