This story is not related to the other stories I have written. It is the same sequence of unfortunate events as the TV show and the Books, ending with the Baudelaires sailing off on their boat, it has the books ending for the Quagmires. Don't worry though. My take on the GREAT UNKNOWN, and if you have read my other books, you know that I am very original, so look out!

I ship Dunclet and Kladora, NOT Kilona and only like 20% Quiglet.

Baudelaires

---

I bring you to when Kit washes up on shore, and Violet asks a question that (by the author) was meant to be a joke. But for Violet Quagmire, it was not. (See what I did there!)

No POV

"They had just been reunited with Quigley, they were too excited to come with me." Kit sighed, "The hot air mobile home crashed down, through the screams I heard a male voice scream your name, Violet."

"Duncan," Violet asked, "Or Quigley."

"I'm not sure." Kit replied

And with that, we fast forward to a day after the Baudelairs set sail for Briney Beach.

"It feels like we have been sailing forever." The middle Baudelaire stated.

"It's only been a day, and besides, you said this journey would take 2."

"Pira" The newest addition to the Baudelaire clan muttered. Sunny, now 4 years old and fluent in English, was quick to translate.

"Female Finish Pirates!"

"Wow." Violet marveld, their ship was 10 times the size of the Beatrice.

"Come on up here lads!" Shouted a Pirates voice as she threw down the rope ladder. They climbed the rope without question, knowing Female Finish Pirates' connection to the noble-enough side of VFD. They got to the top of the boat easily, unlike the last time that a rope ladder was thrown to them. The pirates ushered them in to what looked like a board room.

"Welcome Baudelaires." The Pirate who had welcomed the Baudelaires on to the ship said. She seemed to be the captain. "I knew Beatrice and Bertrand well, So sad to hear of their passing."

"Let's get on with the mission Aye!" Said a gruff pirate, she had long red hair.

"What is the mission exactly, because we were just.." Klaus got cut off

"The mission! You don't know. Aye!" The captain asked, but It really wasn't a question because when Violet started to answer, the Red-haired pirate took over.

"The Great Unknown disappeared off our radar, we're just looking for it. There radar goes off often, so there is no reason to worry." The red-hair pirate said.

"What is the Great Unknown anyway?" Asked Violet. "Fiona seemed to think it was some sort of sea monster."

"Well it's not." The captain said firmly. "It's a VFD underwater hotel, disguised as a giant sea monster."

"Last we heard they got some new arrivals." A pirate who was watching the radar said. They would later find out her name was Sadie. This lit up the faces of the Baudelairs when they realized who she might be talking about.

"Quagmires?" The Baudelairs who could talk whispered, not wanting to wake up from whatever dream this was.

"Yes sir-y" Said the Captain. Violet and Klaus both smiled really big.

"Looks like these two fancied some of the Quagmires. Karen and Beatrice did hope that their family lines would cross eventually." The red hair pirate smirked. Violet and Klaus blushed and looked at their feet. Not denying or approving what the red haired pirate had said. The meeting went on, and the Baudelairs were shown to their room by Sadie.

"We only have one available room. Our other guest one still smells like puke." Sadie said.

"We're used to tight living accommodations." Klaus said. "Do you know when we might find the Great Unknown?"

"Actually, yes, I detected a patch that it made, we should reach them by 6'oclock tomorrow morning."

"Thank you so much. We are so grateful, you have no idea." Violet said, with tears in her eyes, she was going to be reunited with her best friend, her soul mate, and a good friend. Just an hour ago, she wasn't sure which Quagmire triplet fit each of those roles, but as soon as she heard they were safe, the first face she saw, was Duncan's.
