Arya sat behind her desk, going through the candidate profiles of the clients that had gone through consultations this week. She was making sure that the women to men ratio remained even. In her mind, there should never be a uneven ratio of active profiles to ensure that each of her clients had a fair chance of being matched to their preferences. Reaching across her desk to answer her phone, she didn't even bother checking the caller ID since it was her work phone that was ringing.

"You've reached Arya White."

"How could you fire your sister? I raised you better than that! You expect everyone to remain as perfect as you and that isn't realistic, Arya. Everyone makes mistakes!" Arya released a sigh, rolling her eyes at her dramatic mother.

"Mom, how did you get this number?" She didn't need to ask. She knew the only person that could have given it to her was Amira. She just wanted confirmation before she reached out to her IT department to virtually shut down and lock the company cell phone that her sister was still in possession of.

"I'm your mother, Arya. Why wouldn't I have your contact information."

"Because, Mom, this is a private and secure company line. There are to be no personal calls whatsoever being held on this line. I will call you when I'm off work. I love you, bye." She ended the call before her mother could retaliate and guilt her into staying on the line any longer. After muting notifications from her mother's number she went back to sifting through the client profiles.

After going through all the active profiles, she went into the pending profiles, assigning the new high profile accounts to herself. All new profiles can sit in pending status for up to six weeks depending on how many active profiles there are. Although the system only accommodates a total of fifty profiles which explains their long waitlist. The only profiles Arya tries not to keep waiting are the elite profiles, primarily because it takes a bit longer to match their requirements.

"Sorry to interrupt, Ms. White. I have Mr. Christensen here. He says he's here to pick you up." Arya slightly rolled her eyes at what her assistant just said over her intercom. As hard as she tried to stop it, the smile still grew on her face. She figured he would just send her his address since the address attached to his contact information was the one for his company. She pressed the intercom button to respond back to her.

"You can send him in. I'm still wrapping up. Also, you can forward all the calls to mailbox and head out for the day. Thank you."

Arya went back to her computer and quickly saved the profiles she assigned to herself and closed out of the system before Ethan walked in. She's the only one who has access to the client pictures. She wanted to make sure that her matchmakers weren't making suggestions based off looks. Even though the system makes the final match, the matchmakers are the ones who make suggestions to the system based off of their consults.

"Arya, it's six and you're still working." She glanced up from her computer at him, sending him a small smile before looking back to her computer.

"I know. I'm wrapping up now. I wasn't expecting you to come get me. I still have to go home and change."
