"Ethan, stop. I have about two hours to get this finished." Arya whined while swatting at his roaming hand. This was the only task she agreed to do while on leave. Her and Ethan's wedding is only two days away, so they wouldn't be returning to work until after their honeymoon.
She was launching a 'Ask The CEO' section to the blog side of her website. One of the writers had already sent her a series of questions to answer so they can edit and launch the column. Her team felt like the more personal aspect would help gain more traffic to the website. The PR team did a quick poll on the company's instagram story and the topic with the most votes was 'How to Ace The First Date'.
Arya and all of the matchmakers were trained on composing questions for their clients based on their preferences, but those questions were specific to the candidate. Answering questions for this article was a bit challenging to her because she had to come up with answers and advice that would be beneficial for the average dater, but also make them to where they weren't general answers so her readers felt like they were reading quality content.
"I've never seen you spend so much time on an interview let alone a damn journal entry."
"Fuck you, it's an article and I'm basically getting interviewed so don't hate because your company isn't as trendy as mine. It's also my first large contribution to our blog so it's literally a make or break for me."
"Mmhmm." Ethan mumbled while slipping his hand under her shirt to rest onto her stomach. Ethan knew he wasn't anywhere near ready for a child, but he couldn't help but imagine them in this same position a year from now with his hand on a noticeably larger pregnant belly.
"Stop doing that!"
"Doing what?"
"Manifesting a baby in me. You'll be a single father." Ethan chuckled at the distress in Arya's voice and began rubbing small circles around her stomach.
"I thought we were supposed to be five under five within five? Wasn't that the premonition?"
"More like the nightmare. What are we going to do with five under five within five?"
"Be a family." Ethan joked. He didn't know why he was going back and forth with Arya on it. He really just thought the whole thing was funny since he didn't mind either way as long as they were doing it together.
"Damn, maybe I'll be the one having the midlife crisis."
"I wish you would try to leave me. Any man other than me is lame." Arya playfully rolled her eyes at him while finishing up her last answer on the questionnaire.
"I want to have sex on a ATV on our honeymoon." Arya announced while sending the document off and closing her laptop.
"Arya, why are- yes, whatever you want."
"Actually a jet ski might be safer. You know if anything happens we'll end up in water instead in a random bush or ditch."
"Wait, you want me to be driving it?" Ethan looked up at her, seeing the excitement in her eyes.
