Blaine clicked the play button for what felt like the millionth time that evening as Kurt started the dance, again. Even though he was sick of the song and was tired from his own practice, Blaine couldn't help but smile, even if just a little bit, anytime Kurt danced. However, it was like the time before the competition again, Kurt didn't look happy and he was anything but focused which was becoming more obvious when he stumped forward on a walk causing Blaine to stop the music and head over to his boyfriend, who was equally as tired as he crouched down, his head hung low as he let out heavy breaths.

Blaine crouched down to be level with Kurt as he rested a hand gently on the older boy's shoulder, smiling at him reassuringly, "You need to take a break Kurt, you're not focusing" Blaine admitted, rubbing his shoulder.

Kurt looked up at him through his long lashes and sighed as he nodded, "I know.. but I can't risk messing this up" Kurt admitted, "Not in front of them" he added as he stood up and took in a few deep breaths as he looked around the room, stretching his arms.

Blaine smirked and stood up as well, crossing his arms as he stared at the boy who, had realised his boyfriends eyes were on him but was trying to avoid his gaze.

"Why are you staring at me?" Kurt asked, failing to fight back the smile that took over his features, "God, talk about deja vu..." Kurt mumbled after as he shook his head.

Blaine looked confused for a moment as he tilted his head and stared with furrowed eyebrows till he realised just how similar things were now, to then.

"Maybe I can make you feel it more..." Blaine smiled as he pulled Kurt closer to him by his hips, "Remember our dance?" he asked, turning Kurt around so that his back was resting on his chest as he snaked one arm around Kurt's slender waist while the other traced his arm until it met his hand, their fingers intertwining as he raised them up to his lips and placed a chaste kiss to Kurt's knuckles.

Kurt watched all of Blaine's movements, smiling like a schoolgirl as he felt the heat rushing to his cheeks, "Like I'd forget..." he breathed out, the pair leading into a slow version of the old dance before Kurt was spun around so that they were face to face again.

Blaine leaned in and kissed Kurt gently, Kurt happily reciprocating the action as his arms wrapped around Blaine's neck, the kiss becoming more passionate as Blaine's hands tightened on Kurt's sides resulting in the pair having to pull themselves away from each other, both having to remind themselves that they were in a dance studio and not a private room.

They had stepped a few feet away from each other as they calmed themselves down, stealing glances and smirks before Kurt walked back over and pecked his cheek.

"Perhaps we need a new dance" Kurt suggested, wanting an excuse to have Blaine near him again, have him holding him again.

Blaine's smiled reached his ears as he nodded enthusiastically, "I think that'd be a wonderful idea" he agreed, "However, this time- we aren't doing ballet" he informed Kurt who instantly went into panic mode, his eyes wide as he stared at the shorter boy who was moving towards his iPod and speaker.

After scanning the playlists and mumbling to himself incoherently for a few minutes, Blaine let out a triumphant "Aha!" before he looked at Kurt and clicked played on the song.

Kurt's eyes grew wider, if that was possible, when a lyric-less pop song came on, the backing upbeat and funky. Kurt stepped back, his arms around himself, when Blaine walked over to him with his hand out. Kurt didn't know what to do, he'd never danced to anything like this before, heck, he'd never danced another style before.

"Come on Kurt, dance with me?" Blaine asked, giving Kurt his puppy dog eyes and a charming smile which only grew wider when Kurt untangled himself and took Blaine's hand.
