I really hope today isn't gonna get ruined. It's been a little over a week since we moved house,and it's been really good so far,no one breaking in,no one trying to kill us. And I hope to god that it stays that way. But today was gonna be good,we all planned to go on a kind of "family day out",I guess you could call it? It's me,Denki,Aizawa and my mom. We hadn't really had a chance to look around the new place we had moved to,so we were gonna do that today. There was this carnival that had opened up a few days ago,we planned on going there for a while and then maybe going to the mall or something. I knew that we were having dinner in a nice restaurant after all of this,so I'm really hoping it doesn't get ruined,I can't deal with that today.

𝙰𝚒𝚣𝚊𝚠𝚊'𝚜 𝙿𝙾𝚅

I woke up to Mekisa snoring next to me,her hair was in her face and her mouth was gaped open,I laughed slightly,but proceeded to move the hair out of her face and kiss her forehead before getting out of bed silently,hoping to not wake her up. Yes,we're all going out today,but that doesn't mean she can't sleep in for a little bit,plus,it's only 7:30am,she does not need to be up at this time. Neither do I really,but I can't really help that. The joys of having insomnia.

The new house had been really good so far,everyone seemed to like it too,which I was very happy about,I would've hated it if they were miserable here. I walked out of my room and headed to the living room,but when I got there,I saw Hitoshi sat on the couch with his head leaned back,it looked like an uncomfortable position,especially for his neck.

"Toshi?" I shook his shoulder lightly,trying to wake him up. He groaned quietly and opened his heavy lidded eyes.

"Hmmm~oh,hey dad—" he stopped there,when he realised what he said,he just called me "dad" I know he was half asleep,but that was still special to me. But it seemed to embarrass him,his face flushed red and he quickly sat up.

"I did not mean to say that,I'm sorry." He said through his hands,that were now covering his face.

"You don't need to apologise,I don't mind,you can call me that if you want,kid." He looked at me with the most shocked,yet happy expression I've ever seen on his face. It made me laugh slightly.

"O-okay..." he just looked away again. I went to the kitchen and made some coffee for both of us,I figured he'd need it.

"So,what are you doing sleeping out here?" I asked as I passed him his coffee mug,he nodded as a thank you before answering.

"I couldn't sleep last night,I'm worried that somethings gonna happen today while we're out. Knowing our luck..." I understood where he was coming from,I was worried too,but I decided not to focus on that emotion,instead,I focused on how good it's gonna be for us as a family. It's weird to call us that,but I also loved it.

"You don't need to worry,kid. Nothings gonna happen,I won't let it happen. We're just gonna have a nice day out,okay? Oh,and before something else gets in the way,I need to train you." He nodded,but then looked at me confused.

"Train me? For what?"

"For you to get into the hero course. I can see how much potential you have,you just need to learn how to fight better,so I'll teach you." His face lit up slightly.

"Thank you." I nodded and took a sip of my coffee.

"It's not gonna be easy,but I'll teach you how to use a scarf like mine,and I'll teach you all the fighting styles I know,and you'll finally get to where you deserve to be." I said with a small smile,which he returned.
