The taxi ride couldn't have been longer as we pulled into my parents' driveway, where both of our families stood on steps with a banner.

"Welcome home, Mijo! We weren't expecting you guys to be back so soon, so we came prepared right as you called! Does this mean a little niño resides in Akira?" Camille questions cheerfully as I flush red, lightly scratching my cheek.

"I haven't had any symptoms, so it's a bit too early to know definitively. But my heat is over 11 days early. So it's a possibility." I bite my lip, looking down as I feel my alpha smirk down at me. "Um, why are you all here?"

Kolivan steps forward, a box in his hand as he stops in front of us; clearing his throat for all to hear. "As of now, you two are home owners. The address of your new house is listed on this box. Your keys and wedding bands are in here as well. You should be wearing them at all times."

"Pregnancy makes you bloated. I can't wear that ring after my first trimester. It'll become infused in my skin." I roll my eyes, crossing my arms as I slowly take the box from my stepfather, opening it and taking my gold and diamond studded ring from it; passing the box to Lance who takes his plain gold ring.

"I'll get you a chain, so it's always close to you." Lance suggests as our families coo at the idea.

"Aren't they adorable together? Ah, young love." One of his aunts sigh out as tears prick my eyes, causing for me to turn around in order to hide them.

"Love? What's-?"

"Don't call me that! Just... just get in the car when you're ready." I shake my head, wiping the tears from my face as I storm to the car.

"If this is about that James guy..."

"No, it's not. Now stop talking. I'm done talking." I stubbornly push aside the conversation, getting out the passenger side of the car, walking up the stairs to our new house.

Opening the door, I am hit with a smell of vanilla scented candles and rose colored walls. The beige couch matches with the birch wood furniture and painting frames. Shelves are full of books and albums. A dark oak stair case was tucked away, near the kitchen entrance where the cabinets and pantry were stacked with treats and canned goods. The living area held a couch and grand piano. A flat screen television hung above a marble fireplace.

"Wow, they did not play." Lance whistles as he walks over to a closed door by the kitchen, eyes widening. "Found the nursery. Fit for an omega boy or alpha girl."

"Or? What do you-?" I pause as I walk behind him, freezing at the sight of pastel reds, oranges and yellows with tones of brown creating this warm environment. Two fluffy chairs surrounded a fire shaped rug; a bookshelf in between. A wooden crib with an orange base sat there with a hippo plushie that seemed familiar. Walking over to the plushy, I pick it up slowly as I look at the tattered tag with my name on it along with my dad's. "Jun? Where did she find this?"

"What's Jun? The hippo?" Lance questions as I nod, holding the plush to my chest while closing my eyes.

"Yeah... my dad named it for me. It was my plushy when I was a baby. I never left anywhere without it. I thought I lost it." I explain, placing the hippo down before picking up the note that was placed neatly in front of it. "Your father thought it would have been a good idea to hold onto this until the next generation was born. He thought it'd make for a cute sentimental item."

"That is sweet. Kolivan did that for you?"

"Kolivan isn't my father. He's my stepfather who doesn't like me. My real father was ten times greater. I wish you could have met him...." I trail off, seeing a row of DVDs lined up against the wall. "Are theses...?"

"They're ours. It's a mix of mines and yours. It's for our children to look back on. It was my idea to add this to our house. I guess they placed it in here." Lance shrugs as I wipe my eyes, feeling like I'm about to cry. "Woah, don't tear up on me again!"

"Sorry, this is just too much." I shake my head, exiting the room. "I'm going to shower and I'll be in the study."

"Alright then, I guess I'll explore."

"So, how was the honeymoon? Magical? Stunning? How was the view?" Pidge questions a million times as I groan, hitting my head against the desk. "That bad?"

"Worst. I don't remember shit and I'm pregnant." I huff, lifting my head as I rub the bruise forming on my forehead. "Plus I'm marked and Kolivan is forcing us to be public."

"Should I be calling you princess from now on?" Pidge jokes as I sigh, picking at the gloss finish coat of the dresser.

"Probably? I'm like 90% certain I'm considered a princess now. People are going to think I married him for status. They wouldn't be entirely wrong either." I scoff as she shakes her head in disappointment.

"You married him for status, sure. But are you sure you feel nothing for him? He's a nice dude and he seems constantly worried about what you think of him." Pidge raises an eyebrow as I shrug.

"Sure he's nice and all. But I don't know him, yet I know everything I need to know about him. He satisfied my omega, is my husband and is the father of my soon to be child. Nothing more to be said." I yawn, covering my mouth as I stand up; dusting off my gown as the door to the study creak open. "I should be going to bed. He'll start to look for me."

"Don't forget to be all lovey dovey in your sleep. But not too lovey. And make sure you have space to get up! Morning sickness kicks in at 3 months!" She shouts before I hang up the Skype call before jumping at the knocks at the door.

"Shall we sleep?"

"Sure."
