Chapter 4

Imani's Pov

I walked out the studio and looked to my left to see Jay and Beyonce. 

"You were great," Bey said, "Yeah, you are a great performer," Jay added and I was just looking at him, I knew he wanted to sign me but I wasn't interested in becoming a star.

 "Oh, all of a sudden you wanna be nice," I said, "I was just complimenting you," he said defending himself, "I know your being nice because you want to sign me, but guess what I'm not interested in becoming a star." I walked away to explore the house and play with Kacey.

                                                                    8:45 P.M [Beyonce's POV] 

We arrived at the arena 15 minutes before the show started. I was backstage in my dressing room getting ready. I was humming to the song  "Halo" when Kacey and Imani came in.

 I swear they go everywhere together but I don't blame them because they have been through a lot and all they have is each other

. Kacey sat on the couch and I gave her my iPad to play games. Imani stood next to me trying to talk to me because of all the stylist around. "I want you to sing a song with me on stage" I asked and she shook her head.

 "Why,""Because I don't want the media thinking something" she replied. I turned to Kacey and asked the same question. "No" she said sounding a little scared. "Kacey has anxiety problem" Imani jumped in before I could ask why. I then just went back to doing my hair and make-up. 

I really wanted them to perform with me but I'll just let the be. After my getting ready I went on stage to sing. I sang these songs:

The next song was Halo and that was the song I wanted to sing with Imani.I saw her in the crowd. "Can I please have a volunteer to come up and sing this next song with me," I said and the crowd went wild. I looked at Imani and she shook her head. I mouthed "Please," and she mouthed: 'OK.' She got up and went up on stage. "Can someone get her a mic" I said and they did as told. The beat to halo started and I started to sing

Remember those walls I built? Well baby they're tumbling down.They didn't even put up a fight, they didn't even make a sound.

I could tell she was shy but she still sang and her voice was amazing

After we made our ending messages and then made our way backstage. After singing with Shawn I started to feel the same same way as I used to and remembered why I married him. I kissed him and then told him I loved him before making my way over to my dressing room.
