Chapter 16

Beyonce's POV
When Imani told me that Tanisha was the one who kidnapped my babies, I was furious. I excused myself from the room to make a phone call to Shawn. After 3 rings he picked up.
Phone Convo
Shawn: Hello

Me: Hey. I have news for you

Shawn: What

Me: I found out who took Blue Kacey

Shawn: Who

Me: Your ex

Shawn: Your saying Tanisha kidnapped them

Me: Yes Shawn and I'm not surprised either, ever since you broke up with that bitch she's been sending threats to our family

Shawn: What! How come your now telling me this

Me: Because, I could handle it myself

Shawn: And how's that working

Me: Shut up Shawn.

Shawn: Plus how do you even know that she took them

Me: Imani called her boyfriend atoldold me that she could hear Kacey scream in the background

Shawn: *mumbles something*

Me: What did you say

I asked and he hung up. I walked back into the room and sat down next to Imani. "Don't worry, we're gonna find them," I said, "Quick question," I said and she put all her attention on me, "By any chance do you know where Jaden lives," I asked and she shook her head.

The doctor then came back with the results and it turns out that Imani had a few minor fractures and one big fracture in her arm.

Imani was obviously mad because the doctor said she can't play basketball and I was mad because that women broke my baby.

Shawn's POV
I was pissed when I found out that Tanisha was the person who kidnapped Blue and Kacey. I was in my office finishing up some work which was hard to do because all I could think of is the girls and if they're alright. I had just got a text from Tanisha that read:
If you want your baby girls back, Meet me at Olive Gardens tonight at 8

I decided to go because I knew that Bey was going to stay the night at the hospital. I looked at the time and it was 7:30. I went upstairs to get ready. When I was done getting ready I headed over to Olive Garden. When I entered, I saw that there was barely any people there, which was good.

I saw her in one of the booths in the back. I walked over to her and sat across from her.

"Where are my kids," I said as soon as I sat down, " How rude, No hi or hello," "I'm gonna ask you again, where's my kids," "Only one of them is your biological child, the other one is adopted," "So. I love them both equally," I said, "Yeah right," "Tanisha, answer my question," I said getting impatient and raising my voice a little.

"How do you know that I kidnapped them," "Imani," "I knew I should've took that bitch too," she said under her breath thinking I didn't hear her.

"This is the last time I'm gonna ask you. Where my kids at," I said sounding a little ratchet, "You want them back. Dump that bitch you call your wife and come back to me,"

"Your crazy," "Shawn, we were this close to a baby. This close to being a family," "Woah, what do you mean we were this close to having a baby," "I was pregnant with your baby but unfortunately you left me and I didn't know how to take care of a baby by myself so I aborted it," she said and I felt a little bad for her.

"Sorry about the abortion and everything but I'm not gonna dump Bey for you," "OK, I'm just gonna torture the girls," she said as she got up from the booth.

Before she left the booth she turned around and said, "Oh yeah, following me isn't gonna do anything because when I leave here I'm going straight to the club to go fuck another nigga that's better than you."

She left and I followed behind her. I walked over to my car and what a coincidence that she was parked next to my car.

"You have my number if you change your mind," She said before going into her car. I got into my car and drove to the hospital to see Imani and talk to Bey.

I got there and was greeted by the nurse at the front desk. "I'm here to see Imani Carter," "Name," "Shawn Carter," "Upstairs in room 204," she said as she handed me my name tag, "Thank you," I said as I walked towards the elevator.

I went upstairs and hunted for room 204. When I finally found it I entered the room to see Bey comforted Imani who was crying. "What happened," "According to the X-Ray results Imani has a fractured arm and she can't play basketball for a while," Bey said.

"Bey can I talk to you," I asked and she nodded. We excused oursleves from the room and talked outside. I told her what happened at Olive Garden.

"So your saying that she won't give me my babies back unless you dump me for her," she asked and I nodded," We all know that that ain't gonna happen." She said and I laughed, "Its not funny Shawn," she said which caused me to stop laughing. I could tell she was frustrated,

"Didn't you say that little nigga that's dating Imani knows Tanisha," I asked and she nodded. I was about to back into the room but Bey stepped in front of me, "Oh no, no, no. Your not gonna let Imani be a part of this. She's already been through so much,"

"Bey, its the only way for us to get Blue and Kacey back," "Its not the only way," "So you want me to dump you for her," I asked. She sighed and let me through.

I entered the room with Bey right behind me. I sat next to Imani and Bey sat on the other side of her. "What's going on," she asked, "Why are you guys acting weird. What's the bad news. *gasp* did someone die," she asked and Bey smiled a little.

"No. Imani did you say that Jaden knew Tanisha," "Yeah," "How," "I called Jaden a few hours ago and I heard Kacey screaming in the background. I then heard a female voice yelling at her to shut up and then I heard another female voice yelling for Tanisha," "I knew I should have never trusted that kid," I mumbled to myself.

"By any chance do you know where Jaden lives," I asked and she shook her head. "Does he talk about his mother," "Yeah, all he said is she's a whore,"

The doctor came in to give Imani her cast. I was tired so I decided to go home. Bey decided to stay the night at the hospital to keep Imani company. When I got home I immediately went upstairs and jumped into bed. Today was a long day and all I wanted to do was sleep.
