Chapter 15

Kacey's POV
I woke up in this unknown place. I looked to my left to see Blue sleeping peacefully. It was dark but there was just enough light for me to see my kidnapper.

I recognized that face. That was the girl who tried to snatch me when I was at the mall with aunty solo. I looked around and didn't see Imani anywhere. " IMANI," I yelled out her name but I got no reply. I was gonna yell out her name again but someone covered my mouth with one hand and squeezed the back of my neck tightly.

"I'm only gonna tell you this once, OK," she said and I nodded, "SHUT THE FUCK UP," she yelled spitting on my face and putting her bad breath on my face. "TANISHA," someone yelled out her name, "Do you understand me," she said and I nodded.

She left the room leaving me all alone in the dark room crying.

                    Beyonce's POV
"It was all my fault. I didnt wake up when I was supposed too. When I felt Kacey shaking me I thought she just wanted to play but when I heard her scream, I knew something was wrong. I ran downstairs and saw this woman trying to kidnap Kacey and Blue. I didn't know what to do. When she saw me she tried to take me along with them but I put up a fight. I tried my best to get Kacey and Blue back but failed," Imani summarized.

She cried through the entire thing. "Baby, it wasn't your fault," I said as she cryed on my shoulder, "It's OK, your safe now. No one is gonna hurt you," I continued while rubbing her back, "We'll find them, don't worry."

                     Imani's POV
After I summarized everything that happened,Beyonce comforted me until the doctor asked to speak to her outside. I was alone so I decided to call my boo Jaden to keep me some company. I thought it was going to voicemail but he picked up just in time.
                   Phone convo
Me: Hey
Jaden: Hey, What's up

I was about to say something but I heard a familiar voice in the background. It sounded like Kacey.

Jaden: Hello???
Me: I'm still here

I then heard her screaming. I got worried.

Me: What's going on. I hear screaming in the background
Jaden: Nothing. Listen, I gotta go, I'll talk to you later. Bye *kisses the phone*

He hung up before I could say bye back and kiss back. That was strange. Something is going on here and I intend to find out. The doctor came back into the room.

"Imani its time for your X-Ray," she said and I got up. After my X-Ray we waited for our results. While waiting for our results I decided to tell Beyonce about my phone call with Jaden. I took a deep breath before answering.

"Mom," I said and she looked at me givinge her full attention. "I called Jaden today and something weird was going on with him. I heard Kacey's voice in the background, she was screaming. Should I be worried," "So, your saying Jaden had something to do with Kacey's Kidnapping," she asked and I nodded.

She got a phone call and excused herself. A few seconds later my phone went off. It was Jaden calling so I answered.
                  Phone convo
Jaden: Hey

Me: Hey. I see you took care of that screaming problem. What was that anyways

Jaden: Nothing

???: Jaden, Who is that

Jaden: My girlfriend

???: IMANI

???: Didn't I tell your ass to shut up

???: IMANI SOMEONE HELP *Crying*

???: Tanisha, leave the girl alone and let's go

Jaden hung up the phone and I just stared into space trying to put the pieces of this puzzle together. When I finally figured it out Beyonce walked into the room.

"IT WAS TANISHA," I blurted out. "What," she asked sounding confused. "Tanisha, she was the one who kidnapped Kacey's and Blue," "How do you know that," she asked and I summarized the entire phone call I had with Jaden. She then excused herself to make a phone call. I wonder what she is gonna do.
