Chapter 6

Beyonce's POV

I got home and let the kids go and play. I went into the living room to find Jay on the couch watching TV. I sat down next to him and turned off the TV. He put his arm around me while I laid my head on his chest. 

"So, did you win today," I asked, "No, but that's cause I let her win" he replied and at that moment Imani entered the room and said, "Stop lying to your wife."

She then left the room and I just sat there laughing at Jay.

When I was done, I got serious and asked the real question I wanted to ask Jay. "Jay. how do you feel about adopting Imani and Kacey," "I don't mind. If that's what you want then I support you all the way. Plus I'm starting to like Imani and Kacey anyway. They've earned my trust." he replied

 I got up. "So, you just leave me like that,"Jay said, "Yup" I replied popping the "P."

 I kissed him and headed upstairs to get Blue and Kacey ready. 

"IMANI, GET READY FOR DINNER," I said and I heard her suck her teeth as a reply. I just a ignored it and took both Blue and Kacey a bath, then I put clothes on both of them. I then took myself a shower and put clothes on. I then put makeup on and headed downstairs. 

Guest started to arrive and I greeted each of them. When everyone was at the table we said grace and started to eat. Everyone had small talk and everyone met and talked with Kacey and Imani. 

"I have an announcement to make," I said. Everyone put their attention towards me. 

"Shawn and I have made a decision and we want to adopt Imani and Kacey," I said and I looked at Imani and she looked as if she were gonna cry tears of joy. Kacey had a big smile across her face like always. "Do you guys want to be adopted," I said, they both nodded their heads and everyone continued to eat.
