Chapter 7

Beyonce's Pov

After dinner I put Blue to sleep and Imani was celebrating with Kacey in the guest room. I was in my room getting ready for bed. 

"I'm gonna be busy tomorrow because of the adoption," I said plopping down on my bed. "I have to meet with the social worker to make the adoption official, I have to call someone to decorate a room for Imani and Kacey and I have to buy clothes and stuff for them," I said, 

"Uh-huh" I heard him say and a few seconds later I hear snoring. 

I turned to face him and I noticed he was asleep. I slapped him and said, "You weren't even listening to me, were you," "Uh-huh" he replied. I just shook my head and went to sleep.

Adoption Day

I woke early the next morning because I had an appointment with the social worker. 

I woke up Kacey and Imani to get ready. I then ate breakfast and got ready myself. I went downstairs to see the girls on the couching waiting for me and trying to stay awake. 

 I went into the kitchen and filled up 2 pots. One pot was filled with cold water and the other with boiling hot. I went back into the living room and poured the cold water on Kacey and the hot water on Imani. They were wide awake after that. 

"WHY THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT," Imani said and I just looked at her. She changed her attitude real quick. "I'm sorry I meant to say...um... Why did you do that," she said. "That's better. You lucky today is supposed to be a good day and I'm busy otherwise (SMACK), now hurry up and change" I said.

Imani ran upstairs looking scared. I even don't know why she's scared I didn't even threaten her that hard. Imani left Kacey on the couch and she was shivering. 

I got her a blanket and helped her change into warm clothes. We were running late so we ran to the car and I somewhat sped all the way to the appointment destination. 

We arrived at the appointment 10 minutes late. The social worker didn't mind though. I went through some stuff and signed some papers. 

A few hours later it was official. Imani and Kacey are now legally my daughters. 

We were about to leave the building when I noticed paparazzi. I sat in the lobby to make a few calls. One call was for my security and another was to some people to decorate Imani and Kacey's room. 

I plan to take the girls shopping after this but it was really hard with paparazzi waiting outside for me. I wanted to keep the adoption a secret from the media. What the hell am I gonna do?
