Chapter 26

Imani's Pov
Can we talk," he asks. "Privately," he continued signalling for the security to leave.

"I have nothing to discuss with you," I said and tried to leave but he grabbed my arm.

"Imani, please," he said. I looked into his eyes and could tell he was sorry.

"Fine," I said and he smiled. We sat down on one of the benches.

"I'm sorry for what my mom has put you through. I can understand why you don't want anything to do with me. I want another chance. I don't want things to be awkward between us. I want us to start over and be friends again," He said.

I looked into his eyes again and can tell he was sincere.

"I forgive you," I said and hugged him.

"So we cool," "Yeah," I replied and left the park. I went over to Magic Kingdom because I knew that they would be there and I was correct.

Kacey was all princessed up and so was Blue.

"Hi," I said as I walked up to them. "Hi baby," Bey said as she hugged me.

"Imani, Look," Kacey said as she twirled and pointed at herself. "Aww, you look just like a princess," I said.

"What about me," Blue said, "You too BluBlue," I said as I kissed her on the cheek.

We soon heard Disney music and out of nowhere a parade came out.

"Woah," Kacey said. She watched as the parade passed by. When it parade passed. Kacey and I rode basically all the rides.

When it got dark, we headed to Cinderella's Castle resort since thats what Kacey wanted to do.

On our way to the room, I got a text from Jaden.

Jaden: Hey
Me: Hey
Jaden: Wyd
Me: Nun just got to the hotel and on my way to my room
Jaden: Oh what hotel u stayin at
Me: cinderella castle
Jaden: So am I
Me: Fr

I texted as I exited the elevator

Jaden: Yeah and I see u
Me: Rly I don't see u

I texted as I looked around.

Jaden: Turn around

I turned around and sure enough he was there.

"I'll meet you guys in the room," I said. "Ok," They said and continued to walk to the room.

I walked towards Jaden.

"Hi," I said as I hugged him. "Hi," he said.

"What are you even doing here," I asked, "It's my foster sister's birthday," he said, "How about you," "Yesterday was Kacey's birthday," I said.

"Oh," "Yeah...I've been meaning to ask, What happened to you after that incident," I asked.

"Oh, they took me to CPS and tried to look for any family member that would take me in but none of them would so they put me into a foster home that grew to love me and is planning on adopting me," he said.

"Oh, good for you," "How about you," he asked.

"We went to the hospital to see if my parents were ok and they were but my mom was pregnant and the baby didn't make it. Life has been pretty normal ever since," I said, "Once again, I'm really sorry," he said.

"It's ok. Oh yeah, I met this girl with cancer and was being treated badly but I helped her get out of that foster home and into another one. Hopefully this one treats her well," I said.

"Well, I should get going," I said as I hugged him goodbye and walked away.

In the middle of walking away, I turned around and asked, "Do you still live in New York," "Yeah," he replied.

"Ok," I said and continued to walk away.

I entered the room to find everyone asleep

I went into the bathroom and took a shower. I then brushed my teeth and changed into my pajamas.

I jumped into bed and was just about to fall asleep but I got a text.

It was from Jaden. It read:
Hey. I have something else I want to tell you.

I was about to reply when he texted me again

I still like you. I can't stop thinking about you.

I was shocked. I didnt know how to reply. He then texted me again.

Goodnight

I just closed my phone and put it in charge. I then went to sleep.
