Two months later
All of the Barnes were gathered at the campaign headquarters. Despite the chemotherapy Rochelle showed up. They all waited patiently for the results to come in. There was two other people at Kelsea's place who was also watching the voting results come through that was Kelsea and Abigail.
"And it has been decided that Governor James Barnes JR has been re elected. This will be his second term as a Governor of NY. Just like his father did before going on to run for senate. His brother is also in politics as he sits as a congressman rep for NY." The reporter said
They began to show footage from inside the campaign headquarters. The Barnes' family were all smiles as they posed for pictures.
"Pfft..I'm so sick of their happy fake family. If people only knew the secrets that family has been hiding." Abby said
Kelsea began to sniffle as the camera panned over the family. She saw Bucky being the loving husband to Rochelle.
"Kels what wrong?" Abby said
Kelsea began to cry "His son was the second person I had ever been with. In highschool the guy I lost my virginity too. It was just a bet..so he could get the popular cheerleader to go on a date with him. I've never met my biological father and as you know my mom is gone she died from aneurysm in the brain during my freshmen year of college. Her parents disowned her for getting pregnant with me so it was always just me and her. I consider Peter MJ and Peter's Aunt May my family. And now this baby has a father that wants nothing to do with him." Kelsea said
Abby grabs her hand, "That's not true. You have me too. I'm officially adopting you as my little sister. Besides my sperm donor and my "brother" may not know your worth but I do. And I can't wait to meet my niece or nephew." She said
"Thanks Abby. Can I ask you something?" Kelsea said
"Sure.." Abby said as she changed the channel.
"How did you take the news when your mom told you the truth?" She said
"At first I was hurt. But then I realized that I had my parents and I had the dad that I needed. And a loving family with them. So it made it easier why do you ask?" Abby said
"Because I want to know what to tell him or her if they ask about their dad." She said
"Don't worry sis I'll be here and the Barnes family isn't getting away with any of this. I've got someone doing a whole of digging. And one day when the time is right they will be exposed. I'm going to single handley take down their perfect persona." Abby said
"What do you have planned?" She said
"Don't you worry your pretty little head sis. You focus on you and the baby. But I promise they won't get away with how they treated me and my mom or you." Abby said
"Ok. Thank you Abbs." She said
"Now let's get back to Shameless cause you know I can't watch it at home cause of the kids." Abby said
They made more popcorn and enjoyed the rest of their night.
