Two weeks later
James pulled into his house, Winnie stepped out side the door.
"Winnie I didn't come here to fight. I came to talk so can we please talk?" James said
"I have nothing to say to you. You cheated James and kept it a secret not only that but you had a baby with another woman. And you knew about it!" She said in raised tone.
James looked down. "I know what I did was wrong but Winnie I am sorry." He said
"How could I ever trust you again? And the part that hurts me the most is that you had your dad cover it up. And look what you have done you have done the same thing to our son. Instead of letting him deal with it you covered it up to save your own ass! It has nothing to do with the rep of him or his marriage. It had everything to do with you and your campaign!" She yelled
"Winnie please stop yelling at me! I get it I fucked up! And I did what I had to do to protect this family!" He said
"And look at what all the lying and scheming has done to this family!" Winnie snapped at him.
James shook his head and walked back to his car. James found his way to Abby's house her kids were at their grandparents house. She walked out when Jason told her that James was outside.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Abby said
"Abigail I'm sorry for how things happened with your mother. I don't have any excuses other than I made mistakes. But I'm trying to do the right thing now." He said
"You are a little late Governor. Mom deserved better and she found better in the man that raised me. And I'm glad for it..because she was the strongest woman I've ever met. You didn't break her or me because we found a man that stepped up when you didn't. We found someone that loved us! You are no man Governor you are a coward who has people to help them cover up what ever you want to hide! So get off my property I don't want to have relationship now it's to late. So take your apology and shove it up your ass." Abby said and went back inside.
"This isn't going well." He whispered as he got back into the car.
James made his way to Manhattan for one last stop on his list. Kelsea had been warned by Abby that he could be stopping by. So when he did she didn't let him in she slammed the door in his face and called security on him.
