Ackerman Journal Entry #4
During the early period of the bond, the Ackerman will undergo the most prominent changes. This include being emotional, being obsessively protective of the host, sudden increase in strength and speed, ease in controlling mind connection with the host, and an unsatiated appetite for everything. The host, however, shows no difference. Will continue to observe for changes. -E. Ackerman
"Come on." Hange murmured beside you as Levi held both of your hands in his. "You can do this, Y/N. Don't let Levi overpower you." They cheered as you focused on blocking your mind. Me? Overpower you? Does Four-eyes even know how demanding you are in bed? Levi said in your head, showing how feeble your attempt at putting up mind walls is.
"Could you like, I don't know, think normal thoughts?" You gritted through your teeth with Hange glancing between you and Levi with a mischievous grin. "I could. But I won't. You'll be more motivated to block me this way." Levi replied with a condescending smirk as you threw his hands away. "This is so annoying. How do you do it so easily?" You muttered under your breath.
"Because Captain has the Ackerman blood. He has much more control over its abilities than you as its host." A sweet voice explained. Turning towards the entrance of the meeting room, you watched as Seth pushed Petra inside with a wooden wheelchair, the uneven round wheels squeaking with every cycle.
"I'm going to look for information on how to help you access the Ackerman skills, Captain Y/N. For now, here are some more information I found." Petra said with an excited smile. "I'm looking forward to seeing Captain Levi's transformation." Seth, who positioned Petra by your side, took up a seat beside Hange with a wide grin. "Me too. I mean, seeing an emotional and protective Levi isn't a scene we see every day." He murmured as Hange leaned across the table to read the paper you're holding.
"Sensitivity to emotions?" You read with an eyebrow raised at Levi who nodded to confirm that its true. "My anger is rage. My happy is elation. My pissed is utterly furious. You get the drift." He murmured in reply, obviously not liking this particular change. "The book did say its only temporary." Petra said in consolation, Levi did not look impressed at all.
"Can easily connect with the host." You scoffed. "Yeah, I can see that." You muttered under your breath as your eyes continued to scan the paper. "Increased appetite? For food? Are you some kind of starving beast now?" You asked Levi with a teasing tone.
"The book didn't specify what it meant by increased appetite. Only that it could manifest differently with each Ackerman, depending on what they are most craving for." Petra explained, glancing quickly at Levi who was staring at you intensely. "Though, I do have my suspicions on what Captain is craving for."
