A/N: Heyyyyaaaa besties! IMYSM. 😭Sorry for the long delay! Here's the double chapter update.♥️ Also, look forward to the A/N in the next chapter. ✨

Silence. That was all that can be heard inside your room. Silence, and the occasional thud of a knife hitting a wooden board as Hange sinisterly cut up an apple for you. You and Moblit stared at one another, trying to communicate without words about Hange's eerie silent rage.

"Hange..." You called out hesitantly from the bed, watching Hange's shoulder move as they sliced up a piece of pear. "Aren't you going to talk to me?" You asked as Moblit gave you a thumbs up for encouragement, the both of you flinching in surprise as Hange stabbed the knife on the table.

The plate of sliced fruit was handed to Moblit as Hange remained quiet. "Moblit, give this to the patient." They said as Moblit glanced between the two of you. Your lips formed into a pout as Hange continued to ignore you. "Hange...." You whined as Moblit started eating the apples off the plate that was meant for you. "Don't pretend I'm not here. Don't ignore me."

A scoff escaped Hange's lips as they turned to you with a scolding glare. "Don't mind me. I'm just preparing myself for the day you'll wipe yourself from my memories and disappear just like you did with Levi." Hange taunted while Moblit choked on the apple he was nibbling on.

"That... that was..." You stuttered trying to explain when Hange clapped their hands together, a sarcastic smirk on their face. "Oh, even better. Why don't you join an assassin organization and get yourself stabbed to death once again?" Hange suggested with a crazy look in their eyes making even Moblit inch away in fear.

"I'm sorry." You murmured, feeling all the guilt from everything that happened settle inside your chest. Hange gave a scathing laugh, crossing their arms over their chest. "What did you say? I didn't hear that." Hange asked while you dropped your gaze. "I said I'm sorry. I won't do it again."

You felt Hange's heavy stare over your head as another round of silence enveloped your room. You heard Hange moved as they swiped the fruit plate out of Moblit's hands and handed it over to you. "I'm still pissed. But I accept your apology." Hange said. "Now, eat this before Moblit finishes it for you."

Taking the plate, you started to nibble on a piece of pear absentmindedly while Hange took a seat at the stool beside your bed. "Tell me everything that happened before and after you went looking for Levi at the Palace that day." Hange said as Moblit poured you a glass of water, setting it on the table at the side of your bed.

You narrated in detail what you heard, what you did, and what you were planning to do. All the time, cowering from Hange's stare as it grew colder and deadlier by the time you told them of the way to break the Ackerman bond curse.

"So you're telling me..." Hange paused with an icy tone in their voice. "To break the curse, a sacrifice of life was needed." You nodded. "And you were willing to make that sacrifice? Scratch that, you almost became that sacrifice."
