Third person's view

The god sat there for a few moments, waiting for the person next to him to turn their head like the first time they met.  He hasn't been in this time for so long,  yet he still remembers everything they both did in the first and last time they saw each other.  The god imprinted it into his mind,  telling himself never to let go of that memory or of that person.  It was too precious to lose.

He agreed with himself,  of course,  no room for debate there. He uttered no words as he patiently waited for the dragon to turn his head, a small smile on his face as he stares at him,  seeing the features of his that he missed the most.

Finally,  the dragon turned his head before jumping back in shock,  the god already expecting it.

The first time he met him,  he told himself that he shouldn't be here and that he should leave,  but thank God he didn't listen to himself.  It was the best decision he ever made. Staying was the best decision he's ever made.

He wondered why he didn't stay in the other times when he stayed here.

The time traveller was nowhere to be found,  the god thanking him in his mind for giving them privacy. Karl was currently hiding behind some trees as he looks out into the field, watching the two interact with each other.

A hand was then suddenly held out,  offering a hand shake.  Something he did a long time ago.

The dragon looked at the hand in the confused manner he remembered,  tilting his head slightly.  Nothing changed about him.  He was still the same.

He placed his hand back behind his cloak as he stares at the creature.  At the first time they met,  he was looking at his face to look for other emotions other than confusion since he was agitated about the fact that he didn't know anything about a handshake,  but now?  Now,  he was just staring at him to remember every little detail he might've never seen before the first, second,  and last time.

The dragon opened its mouth to speak,  him hearing out gargles of greetings he never knew before, but now he does.

Sadly,  he had to act like he didn't just understand what he said.

"Hello there!  Are you my new friend?"

He made a confused expression, one that didn't really match his true emotions.  The creature smiled at him when he realized he was as "confused" as he was. He felt guilty for lying to him,  but he couldn't risk doing something that might change everything.  Every small mistake will count as a large one and rip through the timeline like it was nothing.

He wouldn't be able to mend that again and live with the consequences of what he did.  It was always like that.

But still,  he had to play by the rules even though he knew that he could change it however he wanted since it always had consequences in the first place.

His smile was only a soft one,  not one that made fun of him for not knowing what he just said.  He understood that he didn't understand the language he just spoke.

"I know you can understand me."

The vision he first saw in their first meeting never passed him by once again since he knew about what will happen.  What was the point of seeing it all over again?

It's painful here.  Remember me.

He wanted the dragon to remember him again,  to change the whole timelines with him,  break it with him.

But,  he knew the dragon wouldn't do any of that.  It was just wishful thinking.

His face apparently mirrored his alerted one from the past as he felt a hand on his shoulder.  He gave him an emotionless eye as he met with purple concerned ones.  He wanted to show his appreciation,  but couldn't.

The purple eyed dragon only took his hand from shoulder back before moving away for a bit to mind his own business.. The god knew that he thought they ruined their first impressions of each other.

They both sat in silence, the god looking at the blades of grass that he sat on while the dragon was twisting a flower on his hands, both trying to distract eachother with their surroundings rather than taking their curiosity for each other into fruition.

The silence was broken by someone clearing their throat,  the god smiling under his breath as he turned to the direction of the other,  the smile easily hidden.

"Why have you broken the silence you embarked between us?" He asked.

Thanks for breaking that silence.

The dragon's eyebrow rose as he held another confused expression towards the God's statement. He opted to give him a playful glare,  but the dragon took that as a despised glare and shifted backwards a bit more.

Silence was brought back between them as both stayed by eachother's side, the distance between them physically the only thing keeping the God away from spilling everything out to him and breaking the timeline.

He can't be selfish,  not now.

In that silence,  however,  the dragon stayed looking at him with those purple eyes,  asking for him to speak.

"Speak to me."

The god then turned his head to the dragon,  staring at him as well to tell him that he should speak first.  The dragon caught note of that and opened his mouth again,  hearing the same language he first heard of earlier.

"Hello!"

"Hi!"

"Can you understand me?"

"Do you hate me?"

He couldn't understand the last sentence,  it being more blurred out than the rest because of the headache he got in that moment. He wanted to curse himself out, but debated doing that,  staring back at the creature that held a smile.

His smile faltered, however,  as he realized that the God didn't understand what he just said,  trying to look for something to help him understand desperately.

"Come on. Tell me. You know what you're doing."

The god lent out his hand again as he watched the dragon gently put his hand on top of his, shaking their hands together.

We finally meet again.

"I missed you."
