Third person's view

The whole placed glitched again,  but they were in the same field, watching the sky transition from sunset to night in a span of a second.

The god started to hyperventilate as bit as this happened,  him being concerned about the fact that this was happening to him without him even knowing what caused it.

He hasn't changed anything so why was this happening?

The dragon looked at him confused as he breathed erratically, him acting quickly and comforting him as the God shook from every breath he heaved in.

His hand rubbed his back while the other was on his shoulder, keeping him upright since he was staggering back a bit. The God's hand was on his chest as he looks around their surrounding, finding everything the same,  but it felt different.

Did something change?

"Just talk to me."

His breathing started to get a bit heavier as the world almost closed in on him, too heavy for him to continue caring, until he felt a slap on his face.

He snapped out of it and saw the dragon in near tears as he stares at him with concern,  him sniffing out as he keeps himself from crying.

The god looked around again to see that not much has changed from what he saw earlier.  The sky was still night while the stars were blinking down on him, the trees were still softly moving with the gentle breeze as well as the grass.

The dragon was completely concerned for him, watching as the God slowly puts a hand on the cheek he slapped. He didn't know what to do,  only wanting to snap him out of it. It worked,  but he felt guilty for slapping him.  He honestly knew that he shouldn't have done that,  but it was the first thing he thought of.

He got closer to the god and held the hand on his cheek,  letting them clasp together as he moved it away for a moment.

"Are you alright?" He asked out as the god stared at him, their hands entertwined as the world was silent,  not even the crickets were bothering them.

The moon was shining down on both of them,  bathing them both with its heavenly glow as they stared at eachother's eyes, one still waiting for an answer.

The other sniffed before feeling a hand wipe away his tear, looking at him with wide eyes as his hand was merely hovering over his face as he finished.

This never happened before.

"Then let it happen..."

The dragon blushed a bit as the God still kept his gaze on him, the purple hues of the former being lit up by the moonlight.

The hand that was hovering over his face dropped back to the ground as it helped the god sit up without falling, the dragon looking at the hand for a second before looking back at the God.

"Yeah,  I'm okay.  That was just...Weird."

The god tried to explain what he felt earlier,  how the world was crushing him and trying to push him out of time,  but he refrained himself from doing so,  not wanting to give the dragon more to worry about.

The dragon merely shook his head as he let go of the other's hand,  the latter almost chasing the hand before catching himself and dropping it back on his lap.

"What even was that? You scared me!" The dragon exclaimed as his wings shifted erratically behind him to prove his point.

The god merely chuckled and shook his head,  trying to calm himself down as he looks down at his shaking hand,  massaging it with the other to distract himself from the shaking.

"It's nothing, Pesménos...."

"Nothing?  Nothing?!  You started breathing heavily!  Do not dare say it was nothing!"

The god was shocked at him screaming. He was always calm and to see him like this was a new experience.

"Look,  calm down! I'm alright now." He reasoned out,  reaching out for the dragon's hand before holding it with his own,  rubbing his thumb over the knuckles of the other's hand.

It both calmed eachother down,  just feeling their presence as the whole tension of the earlier situation calmed down, both doing so as well.

The latter refused to bring the topic up once more since he realized that the God wouldn't tell him anything,  making him mumble out some words.

"Just talk."

I can't.

"You alright?" The God asked him as he hears the other mumble out stuff,  not really understanding what he was mumbling about.

"It's nothing." The dragon mumbled out as he looks down at the ground, one hand being used to play with the grass.

The moon shined down at them still like a spotlight,  it seemed to never move from the center of the field,  like it really wanted to highlight this moment until it was done.

Even nature wanted them to talk.

He huffed as he looks at the dragon,  completely not believing him.

"Really?"

"What?  You did it,  why can I not?" The dragon sassily replied as he shifts his gaze from the ground to the God, giving him a soft glare to show his concern rather than anger.

The god grumbled as he rolls his eyes knowing both of them were stubborn.  The grass made a soft rustling sound which didn't leave them in silence,  but the sound didn't disturb their moment,  even helping them as it calmed them down.

Him losing to the dragon was such a rare sight when it came to a physical fight, but with words? Expect him to lose quite a lot. He was insistent with winning, but when it comes to arguments,  he usually repeats just one fact until the other gives up.  It's how their games work and it gives them both something to laugh about in the end.

Both merely enjoyed the silence the field offered them,  completely living in the moment.

Until,  he suddenly spoke out.

"Dream XD just talk to me already. Please. I completely remember you."
