Third person's view
Everything glitched around for both the God and the time traveller, making both of them jolt back in surprise before trying to see what was going on.
Before they could though, everything went back to normal like nothing just happened, until they both looked around to see where they were.
The two were standing together now as the sun was starting to set unlike the time earlier where the sun was high up in the center of the sky. The two were weirded out as they tried looking for the dragon, only to find him in the same place, seeing that the God was the one who was moved to Karl's spot.
The time traveller looked at him with concern written on his face, wondering about what just happened. The god only pushed the topic away and told him that it was most probably nothing, assuring himself before he went back to the dragon.
"What were you going to show me again?" The dragon asked as the God only flinched at the sudden question, the former looking up at him with big eyes that were curiously staring up at him, waiting for him to show whatever he was gonna show him.
The god was confused, not knowing about what he was gonna show him before it clicked, him digging into his pocket and taking out the scale before sitting down next to him again.
"This." He muttered out as he let's the remaining sunlight hit the scale which turned into a black faded with blue one.
He already knew who it belongs to, but acted like he didn't, hearing the latter gasp in shock before taking it gently from his fingers and twisting it into his own.
"Where did you get this?" The dragon asked as he continued observing his own scale, trying to see if it was his.
"From a market stall." The god answered truthfully, eyeing both the scale and the owner of it.
The brunet nervously laughed out as he gave the scale back to the God.
"It's mine. And it must've fell off when I was flying. I swear, it was an accident!"
He exclaimed, the god knowing that it was because he was afraid the God was gonna scold him for being stupid if he didn't say it was an accident. The god only shook his head and chuckled, laughing at his overprotective past self who actually scolded the dragon before.
Pesménos only sighed in relief as he realized that the God wasn't going to scold him, smiling widely as he thought of something.
"Wait right here!" He exclaimed as he went to find something.
A string. The god knew.
He came back with the string and asked for the scale again, the god giving it willingly as he watched the dragon chip the scale a little so he can wrap the string on it. He nodded his head as he checks if he did it correctly, being satisfied at the fact that he did do it nicely.
The dragon then went closer to the God to measure if the string was enough for his neck, wrapping it around the neck. It was the right length and the dragon went straight to work to hide his embarrassed blush, never being that close to anyone.
He just found comfort in the God and vice versa.
The god watched him as he wraps the string around the chipped area, tying it up with a strong knot and then turning his head back to the God. He placed the makeshift necklace on his neck and tied it around, making sure it won't fall off.
"There!" He exclaimed as he looked at it, finding happiness in seeing it. He was completely proud of himself and the God knew that.
He clapped his hands together and smirked at the dragon, teasing him of his "amazing" handicraft.
The dragon only rolled his eyes and hit his head not too strong to hurt him fully, but enough to leave a sting.
He huffed inwardly from the sting, chucking slightly as he rubs his head with a hand, watching the dragon give him this look of pure annoyance, but he knew differently.
The brunet sat back down in front of him as he touches the grass with his hands, plucking some from the ground as he twists the grass together, making some sort of glass crown, putting it on the God's head.
The God's wings shifted behind him a little as a hand raised up to the crown, him being confused as this never happened before. Not to as what he remembered.
The dragon smiled at him as he continued plucking out grass to make another one, letting the god wander around his thoughts and memories, finding the grass crown nowhere in any of them.
He was confused, but snapped out of it as he saw the dragon put one on his head as well, laughing out in glee as he said that they were matching.
The god only chuckled back at him as he listens to the dragon talk about anything he had in his mind, half thinking as well. It was strange. The crown was new. So very new.
"Believe me, I remember you."
Was something breaking?
The god believed something was breaking the timelines, letting some things go berserk or make new scenarios.
Maybe it was Karl's presence? Maybe.
The dragon tapped his shoulder, but didn't get his attention. He rolled his eyes and got his arm from behind his cloak, wrapping his arms around it and pulling him so he can lean his chin on his shoulder.
The god squeaked out and looked down at him, finding him already looking up at him. He was completely confused about these new things, being unnerved by the fact that these didn't happen before and that nothing should've changed drastically even with Karl's presence.
It scared him a lot, yet a part of his brain wanted to break the timeline even more than it already has.
I'm so selfish.
"Then, so am I."
