Marcy raised a brow as Lisa stood in front of her, obviously pleased with herself. "What'd you do?"

Lisa frowned. "I know him! I told you I love him and now I know him!"

"What are you talking about?"

"Juan. You said I didn't love him because I didn't know him. I know him now."

"Oh really?"

Lisa smiled smugly. "Uh huh!"

"What's his favorite color?"

Lisa opened her mouth but heard the question. "Uh..."

"Where does he live?"

Lisa chewed on her bottom lip.

"How are his grades?"

Lisa stomped her feet and screamed.

"Shut that mess up! You're supposed to know these answers because you care, not because I keep stumping you. Just admit you don't know this little boy and get to know him."

"No!" Lisa stomped out to get on the bus for church.

"What was that about?" Mal inquired as he walked down the stairs after changing his shirt and tie (Yleana threw up on him).

"Yo little sister is worrisome." Marcy herded the rest of the household out.

He smirked deeply. "Which one?"

"You know I love Maddie."

"Baby,-"

"Don't yell at me."

He blinked as she pouted. "I'm not yelling, baby. I'm just saying that that may not be nice to say about our baby sister."

Her pout didn't budge.

He laughed. "Get on the bus, Dove."

"Bossy." She walked out.

He just loved how she was getting better.

Xindi waited for Monday to knock on her parents' doors again.

Ellen could cry. "I'm not pregnant! She'll hit me!"

"Please, Mama?"

Ellen sulked as she went to wake up Marcy, who was not happy about it.

Xindi led them to her bedroom. "I need help selecting attire."

"Why?" Marcy growled.

Xindi blushed. "The boy... he- there is talk of him asking me out. On a date."

Marcy lit up as Ellen squealed.

Xindi twisted slowly.

Marcy smiled sinisterly. "We'll doll you up, dollface."

Both Ellen and Xindi were worried about that expression.

Xindi looked at herself in the mirror and was pleased with the results. Marcy was good at this.

Ellen was shocked. "You're so fast and thorough!"

"I am." Marcy set different tools aside to clean as she put away others.

Xindi admired her reflection until something hit her. "Papa!"

Marcy and Ellen both looked to the closet door.

"No! Papa will not like me in this!" Xindi already knew.

"Papa doesn't like a bunch of stuff." Marcy didn't care.
