i wake up and immediately walk into my bathroom, i do my morning routine and fix my hair before getting dressed.

i walk out of my room and walk into the kitchen, i grab some coffee and pour it into a mug before sitting down. i scroll through my tablet and look through tony's schedule and mine before i hear giggling.

i roll my eyes annoyed that tony spent half of the night fucking loud as hell while i was trying to sleep.

"oh well if it isn't y/n y/l/n personal assistant to tony stark" i look up and see tony's last escapade standing right in front of me, i go back to sipping my coffee and responding to emails. "tony still has you checking emails and getting him coffee huh" she asks and i laugh quietly.

"miss i am his assistant and it is my job to so as well as occasionally escorting his escapades out so you can see yourself out or i can put you out, it's your decision" i said to her and she scoffed stomping her foot.

i sigh and get up walking around the table to grab her by her shirt and drag her out of the house, i shut the door in her face before turning around and heading to tony's lab.

i walk down the stairs and put the code into his lab and walk in, i turn his music down and he turns around and looks at me "how'd she take it" he asks "i had to drag her out since it was too late to call happy" i said as he started laughing, "y/n did you even sleep" he asks and i give him a really look "tony you fucked her for half of the night so no" i answer and he sighs "anyways you were supposed to leave for afghanistan two and a half hours ago and rhodes is still waiting for you" i say and he groans "tony i don't have time for you to act like a damn baby hurry up and get ready or you're going to be really late come on" i said to him as he got up.

i push him out of his lab and up the stairs, he grabs his jacket and sunglasses and put them on. happy grabs his suitcases and walks out of the house, tony follows behind him and i follow tony to the door.

"remember this is a demonstration not a concert so please don't make a fool out of yourself" i say and he smiles "yeah yeah" he says and i smile lightly "be safe tony" i say and he smile "always" he says before walking to his car.

after my weapons presentation i see obadiah calling me and i answer "tony" he says "obi what are you doing up" i ask "i couldn't sleep until i found out how it went, how'd it go" he asks "it went great, looks like it's gonna be an early christmas" i answer and he smiles "hey way to go my boy i'll see you tomorrow yeah" he asks "why aren't you wearing those pajamas i got you" i ask "goodnight tony" he says before hanging up.

i get into the truck and close the door as rhodes comes up to my windows "hey tony" he yells "this is the fun-vee the hum-drum-vee is back there" i say and he rolls his eyes "nice job" he said and i smile  "see you back at the base" i say before he walks off

we start driving and i talk with the people in the humvee and all of a sudden the humvee in front of us blows up.

there so much going on that i can't comprehend what to do and i'm a literal genuis. all of the soldiers that were in my humvee are dead so i got out of mine and ran behind the closest rock and tried to call y/n but a missile landed right next to me.

i try to run away but i'm too late, the bomb blasts and the force knocks me back onto the ground. i feel myself bleeding so unbutton my shirt before everything goes black.

i had just got home from a meeting with some business men when i got a call from james, i answer quickly "james wha-" i start but he cuts me off "y/n tony is missing" he says.

i don't even have time to process anything, i just stand there as i feel tears falls down my face "uhm is there anything i can do to help" i ask trying to keep myself together "as of right now no but i'll call you if there is" he says before hanging up.

i let out a ragged sigh as i put my phone in my purse and walk to my office.

i set my things down and and sit down in my chair and run my hand through my hair before picking up my work phone and calling the senator. after a couple of rings he answers "miss y/l/n why are you calling at this hour" he asks and i sigh "i'm calling to inform you that tony stark is missing and that we need to send out a search team to find him" i say and he chuckles "and who are you to make demands" he asks and i sigh "look senator it was either you or the president and i chose you so i highly suggest you do what i ask or your military will not be in business with stark industries and right now we are your best option" i say and he sighs "i will talk to the general tomorrow goodnight miss y/l/n" he says "goodnight senator" i say before hanging up.

if we don't find tony soon all hell is going to break loose with obadiah running it.
