i was putting my heels on when natalie came into the bathroom "ma'am were landing in ten minutes" she announces "thank you natalie" i thank as i stand up and she nods before walking away. i look in the mirror and fix my hair before running my hands over my dress.

i walked out of the bathroom and sat in my seat across from happy and natalie . we have a little conversation as we land about how shitty hammers presentation is going to be, i may be mad at tony but i got his back.
when we land happy grabs our bags and we all get out of the plane and into the audi waiting for us, happy puts our bags away before getting in the car and driving to the expo.
we pull into the expo and happy parks before natalie and i get out, "i'll keep the car down here" happy says as i grab my purse and i nod "thank you happy" i thank with a smile before walking to the main pavilion with natalie.
when we get there we take our seats just as hammer is about to start, he dances his way onto the stage and everyone starts clapping while natalie and i try not to laugh.
"thank you everyone for coming" he starts "for far too long this country has placed its brave men and women in harms way until the iron man arrived and we thought the days of losing innocent lives were gone but that technology was not able to be shared it's not fair it's not right" he finished and i roll my eyes annoyed "ladies and gents today i present to you the new face of the military the hammer drone" he announces and everyone starts clapping as the drone come up from the floor.
"shit" i mumble noticing they all have arc reactors "but as useful as technology is there is always a need for a man to be there in the theater of war, i am proud to present to you the first prototype of the variable threat response battle suit and its pilot colonel james rhodes" he announces "what" i whisper as james comes up on the stage.
i hear rumbling behind me and i see tony flying into the pavilion, when he lands on the stage the entire crowd starts cheering but i know something is up. as natalie and i stand up i see the gun on rhodey suit engage and tony get into a defensive stance, all of the hammer drones start aiming at the crowd scaring people.
tony flies out of the pavilion and the drones start shooting at the ceiling making glass fall everywhere, people start running and natalie and i do our best to make our way through the crowd. "natalie we need to find hammer" i yell over the screaming "he's going backstage " she says and i nod as we both walk towards the other entrance to the back stage.
as we walk in i hear people talking "he's locked us out of the mainframe" the tech guys says "who's locked you out of the mainframe" i ask "please go away go away, ive got this handled" justin says and i look at him sideways "do you really" i ask "yes i do actually if tony hadn't shown up none of this would have happened so please go away" he yells and i just stand there and look at him "look we gotta get these bitches out of here" he whispers to his tech guys and i take my earrings out and put them in my purse.
