the news was going insane about tony shutting down the weapons division and when i mean crazy i mean crazy. i had barely woken up when my phone my phone started blowing up with emails from news outlets asking to interview him.

i walk into my bathroom and shower quickly before doing my routine and fixing my hair for today. i walked out of the bathroom and into my closet picking out something to wear for today.

i walk out of my room and down stairs into my office, i turn on the tv and walk to my desk. i sit down and open my laptop and answer as many emails as i can saying that tony is not accepting interviews at this time.

as i'm responding to emails i hears tony's voice come from my tablet "y/n how big are your hands" he asks "what" i ask confused "how big are your hands" he asks again "why do you need to know..." i start but he cuts me off "get down here i need you" he says.

i get up and walk out of my office, i walk downstairs and put in the code to get into shop before opening the door and waking in.

"hey, let's see them show me your hands" he says as i put them up "oh wow they are small very petite indeed" he says and i give him a questioning look as i walk up to him "i just need your help for a sec" he says and i see a bright metal circle laying in the middle of his chest and my eyes widen "oh my god is that keeping you alive" i ask "it was, it is now an antique" he responds i look at the other glowing metal circle in his hand "this is what will be keeping me alive i'm swapping it out for an upgraded unit and i just ran into little speed bump" he says and i look at him confused "speed bump what does that mean" i ask "it's nothing, there's an exposed wire under this device and it's contacting the socket walk and causing a little bit of a short" he says as he pulls the thing out if his chest and my jaw drops.

he hands me the thing "why are you handing it to me what do you want me to do with it" i ask "put it on that table over there it is irrelevant" he says putting it in my hand "oh shit" i mumble as i sat it down gently on the table "i just want you to reach in and your going to gently lift the wire out" he says and i turn around quickly "tony i'm not doing this unless it's safe" i state "it should be fine, it's like operation you don't let it touch the socket walk" he says "you better be glad i played that game almost everyday" i say and he chuckles "just gently lift the wire".

i go to reach in and i feel liquid that feels like puss "tony what the hell is that" i ask "it's an inorganic plasmic discharge from the device, it's not coming from my body" he says "tony it smells" i whine "yeah it does" he says as i'm on the verge or tears "the copper wire you got it" he asks as i grab the wire and look so i can pull it up "now make sure that when you pull it out you don't, there's a magnet at the end of it" i pull the wire the way out "and that was it, you just pulled it out" he says  "tony what the hell do i do i'm freaking out here" i say feeling panic rise in my chest "don't put it back in" he says and i put it on the table "tony what's wrong" i ask panicking "nothing i'm just going into cardiac arrest because you pulled out the magnet" he says and "a heart attack is not nothing anthony" i yell obviously stressed.

"we gotta hurry take this" he says handing me a glowing metal circle "ok ok tony it's going to be ok i'm going to fix this, i'm somehow going to make this ok" i say trying to reassure him, i reach in and attach the wires to the plate in his chest and he yells scaring me. "was that so hard" he asks and i look at him with a blank stare "are you ok" i ask on the verge of tears "yeah i feel great" he states "are you ok" he asks before he starts laughing "don't ask me to do any shit like this ever again" i plead and he lays back in this chair "i don't have anyone but you" he admits and i just stand there shocked "anyways" he says getting up off of the table "what do you want me to do with
this" i ask and holding up his old circle thingy "destroy it get rid of it" he says and i nod.

i walk out of the lab and up the stairs into my office, i make a call  to a friends and see if they can make something for me and they agree.

i walk out of my office and into my bedroom and change into something comfortable since it was late.

i walk back into the kitchen and get out some ingredients to cook. i cook since tony doesn't know how, one time tony tried to cook an omelette and managed to burn half of the house down.

after a hour i finished cooking and called tony into the kitchen but he didn't show. i made him a plate and covered in before putting it in the microwave and going into my room.

i walk into the kitchen and see the lights still on and a note on the microwave, i walk over and see y/n's neat handwriting on a post it note.

eat please :)

i smile and open the microwave, i see a plate so i take it out and uncover it and see two prices of pizza on the plate.

i eat in silence while going over the plans for my suit, i want to help people not kill them. yes howard may have helped create the atomic bomb but so many lives were lost and many people are still suffering from the effects of the bomb.

i can only hope that this suit can help me save people and end the threat because maybe peace won't leave me out of a job.
