today was again like any other day, answering emails and phone calls. i hadn't even gotten out of my pajamas yet and i was running to my office answering a call from agent coulson "hello agent coulson" i greet "hello miss y/l/n i was still wondering if mr. stark was still on for that meeting today" he asks as i sit down in my chair "yes he is uhm i will go remind him now" i say "ok thank you" he says, i shoot him a quick you're welcome before hanging up and running out of my office.
i walk into my room and take off my clothes before walking into the bathroom and showering quickly. i do my skincare and fix my hair before walking out of my bathroom.

i walk out of my room and downstairs, i walk down the stairs to tony's shop and see him working on his suit.
"hey, you busy you mind if i send you on an errand" he asks "i need you to go to my office, you're going to hack into the mainframe and you're going to retrieve all the recent shipping manifests" he says and i raise an eyebrow "this is a lock chip, this'll get you in" he hand me a flash drive "it's probably in executive files if not they put in on a ghost drive in which case you need to look for the lowest numeric heading" he states.
"and what do you plan to do with the information if i bring it back to you" i ask "same drill they've been dealing under the table and i'm going to stop them, i'm going to find my weapons and destroyed them" he says "anthony you know i would help you with anything but i'm not going to help you if you're going to start all of this again" i say and sighs "there is nothing except this, there's no art opening, there is no benefit, there is nothing to sign, there's the next mission and nothing else" he finished and i nod slowly "is that so, well then i quit" i say throwing the lock chip on the table and go to walk out of the room.
"you stood by my side all these years, while i reaped the benefits of destruction" he says stopping me "and now i'm trying to protect the people that i put in harms way you're going to walk out" he asks and i turn around and look at him, disbelief written all over my face "you're going to kill yourself tony and i'm not going to watch the only person who's cared about me do that to himself" i admit "i shouldn't be alive unless it was for a reason, i'm not crazy y/n i just finally know what i have to do and i know i'm my heart that it's right" he says and i wipe a tear that slipped while he was talking.
