morning after the party

i was hungover, tired, and hungry so i flew to the nearest donut shop i could find, thank god randy's donuts was open.

i quickly got my donuts and walked out of the building, i flew up into the donut on the top of the shop and started eating my donuts. "sir" i hear some yell and i looked down and saw the guy i recognized as nick fury "i need you to exit the donut" he yells before walking away.

i get out of the donut and walk into the shop, i walk over to where furry is sitting and sit across from him. "look i'm not joining you super secret boy band" i mumble and he chuckles "no because you're on this lone wolf thing actually how is that working out for you" he asks and i don't answer "i am very hung over and i'm not necessarily sure if you're real or a figment if my imagination" i state "i'm very real" he states and i nod before looking around.

"that's not looking too good" he comments looking at my neck "it's nothing" i stress trying to change the subject. "the perimeter is secure but i don't know if i should hold it for any longer" i hear a familiar voice coming up to us, i look up and see natalie in some sort of tactical suit.

"we'll you're fired" i mumble as she sits down "that's not your choice" she retorts and i roll my eyes. " this is agent romanoff" fury introduces her and i nod "you should apologize for lying to me" i state and she just looks at me. "you've been quite busy, you made your girl your ceo, your giving away millions worth off stuff, and you let your bestfriend take you suit" he states and i look at him.

"one shes not my girl and two he took it" i argue and he looks at me like i'm stupid "she's not your girl yet" he starts "and you just let lil man kick your ass and take your suit you're iron man and he just took your suit" he asks and i just sit there.

romanoff walks away and comes back and injects something in my neck "shit what the fuck" i exclaim and look at her and then fury "what did she just do" i ask "what did we just do for you, thats lithium dioxide it's going to take the edge off" he states "just give me some boxes of that and we'll be good" i say "it's not a cure it just reduces the symptoms" romanoff says and i nod.

"its not going to be an easy fix" fury comments and i look at him "oh i know i've been looking for a suitable replacement for paladium i've tried everything and i've got nothing" i say "i'm here to tell you that you haven't tried them all" he says.

eventually i get back to my house with fury and a couple other shield agents, fury explains everything between ivan vanko's father and mine. as well as my father had something that could save my life, they give me a case and just abruptly leave but leave coulson to watch me.

after looking through that case shield gave me i got absolutely nothing and i'm dying my blood toxicity levels are at 85% which means my i have a little less than a week.

i did a little more research before i realized i really needed to apologize to y/n and tell her what's going on, so i made a call to a florist before i closed up shop and went to bed.
