tony

it's been six months since i had announced that i was iron man and everything had been great until yesterday.

it's not everyday that you find out that the thing that is supposed to be keeping you alive is killing you, my arc reactor is powered by palladium but over time it started break down which is now releasing toxins into my blood stream which is killing me.

y/n doesn't know and i want to tell her but i don't know how after i promised her i would be careful. i don't want to die without telling her, that'd hurt her too much and i love her way too much to do that to her.

today was the day i opened up stark expo and y/n has been such a help these last six months, she came to the construction site with me and even helped get everything in place for today.

today was the open of stark expo and to say i was excited was an understatement, i was incredibly proud of tony and how he worked on this project.

today has been a very busy day, i had picked up tony and i's outfits for today, check out the expo and gotten my hair and nails done today.

i walked into the house "shoot to thrill" by ac/dc was blasting throughout the whole house, i walked up the stairs and into tony's room and saw him combing his hair back.

"hey i have your suit" i announce and he looks over at me and smiles "all right the plane will be here in thirty so get both of your suits ready, i'll meet you outside" i state and he smiles "thank you, for everything" he thanks before kissing my cheek "you're welcome" i say and he smiles.

i walk out of his room and into mine and get ready. i shower, brush my teeth and moisturize my body before curling my hair. i brush my hair out before walking out of the bathroom and putting my dress on.

i sprayed perfume on my body and grabbed my clutch before walking out of my room, i walked downstairs and outside. i see tony in his suit getting on the plan, i take a deep breath and pray quickly before getting on the plane.

"all right you two ready for take off" the pilot asks and i smile and nod "all right" he says and i smile at tony who looks uneasy.

a while after the plane takes off tony's hunched over the toilet gagging and i'm standing in the door way holding his suit helmet. "i'm serious give me a little space" he says while waving his hand at me. "tony get up" i state and he looks up at me "i can't go through with it" he state and i roll my eyes "tony we don't have time for this we have to go" i say annoyed and he closes the toilet "oh you don't wanna see that" he says before flushing the toilet.

he gets up and walks to the doorway of the bathroom "where am i, do i look weird" he asks through deep breaths "you look how you look everyday,like you have a hangover" i state and he walks out of the bathroom.

"i really just almost died, get me some toast, get me some crackers, ginger ale literally anything get me some advil" he pleads and i help him sit down "i don't have advil i have motrin" i tell him "motrin, im telling you there is something seriously wrong with giving a grown man motrin"  "yes there is something seriously wrong with you" we both say at the same time "it's a brand name" i argue "i'm not in my cycle y/n" he yells "oh my god" i mumble completely over it.

the pilot announces we're dropping so i help tony get up. "abort mission" he yells and i roll my eyes over his dramatic ass "tell him to stop saying we're dropping" tony says as he's running around in complete distress "we are not doing this mission" he yells and i giggle "we're not aborting this mission" i yell and watch as he puts the oxygen mask on.

"tony i swear, do you know how much convincing it took me to get the dod to approve this" i ask "send them flowers" he says and i roll my eyes. "we are over the drop zone tony" i say and he takes the oxygen mask off "really" he asks "yes" i stress "let's do this baby" he says and i roll my eyes.

we walk over to where his is supposed to drop and i follow him, he grabs my arm and pulls me to stand i front of him "how's my hair" he asks "you asked me this earlier" i says and he shrugs "but this time it's serious so do i need more product" he asks "no tony you look great" i assure and he smiles "give me a smooch for good luck i might not make it back" he says and i roll my eyes.

i pull his mask up to my face a kiss it before throwing it out of the plane "go get em tony" i say and he smiles before walking over to where he's supposed to jump off "you complete me" he says before jumping off of the plane and i smile.

eventually the plane lands and i make it in enough time to watch tony's big entrance, i watch proudly as tony talked about the expo.

when tony finished talking about the expo he found me so we could go to the after party. "tony i really do not want to go to this party" i admit and he frowns "i know we'll leave early" he says and i smile as we walk into the building, tony's favorite song "back in black" by ac/dc was playing as we walked into the venue.

"all right i'm going to sit at the bar" i tell tony and he nods "all right call me when you're ready to leave" he says and i nod before walking over to the bar.

i order rosé since i'm technically still working and sit down towards the end of the bar, i sit and watch as people dance and talk.

during the party people come up to me and talk to me about the expo and i happily talk to them about it and answer any questions they have.

after a while tony comes up to my side and puts his hand on my back "you ready to go" he asks and i nod. he grabs my hand and walks up to happy who walks us out of the venue

we walk to the car "look at what we got here the new model" happy says referring to the new audi. "does she come with it" tony asks referring to the woman leaning on the car and i roll my eyes "i certainly hope so" happy comments as we walk up to the car.

"hi" tony greets "hi" she greets back with a smile "and who are you" tony asks "marshal" she answers before shaking his hand and smiling at me, i return her smile before happy opens the back door for me.

tony and happy get i look up at her "so what are you up to later" tony asks "serving subpoenas" she states holding out a piece of paper to him "yikes" he says and i let out at annoyed huff.

"you are hereby ordered to appear before the senate armed services committee tomorrow morning at nine am" she says and i put in my calendar "how far away are we from d.c" tony asks "two hundred fifty miles" i answer and he pulls out of the drive way.

i look in the rearview mirror and see y/n asleep with her head laying against the window. "happy can you put my suit jacket over her " i ask and he nods before putting the suit jacket over her. "you really love her don't you" he asks and i nod "i don't know what i'd do without her if i'm being honest" i admit and he smiles. "you better not mess this up, you know she's the only woman who will tolerate you right" he asks and i chuckle and nod.
