My head is so sore, what happened last night? I remember seeing Michael with that girl and him deciding to call it a day but that's it. I remember something else actually... Meeting Logan. Logan was one of the first people I met when I came to Ireland for my first six weeks stay, he picked me up at the ferry docks with Jamie and he seems to be one of those people that you can not see for a while and when you do see them nothing has changed except the fact that he's got really handsome, braces have worked a treat and now he is hot. My phone starts to vibrate and I realise I've got a text from an unsaved number,
"Hiya love, it's Logan. You hungover? X"
Wow. It's Logan. I'm not getting ahead of myself because I've been doing that a lot lately, I've decided to set myself a pact as of now that I will not start to like a guy until he admits that he likes me.
"Hey! Was good to see you☺️! Yeah, my heads very sore, yourself?x" I reply,
I decide to phone Jamie because I really want some food and can't be bothered to make it,
"Jam" I state,
"Shhh. Whisper, blondie is still sleeping" he whispers,
"Good night?" I ask,
"Not bad" and I know he's smirking,
"I want breakfast, my treat. You fancy it?" I quiz,
"Aye, can you come and pick me up?" He asks,
"Yeah, where about?" I ask before he describes where he is before I get a shower, get ready, get changed and go pick up Jamie before we get back to his flat and he goes for a shower while I tidy up a little. Suddenly, there's a chap at the door and I obviously go to answer it to see it's actually Logan.
"Hello" I smile,
He looks up from his shoes slowly up my body before reaching my face and smiling,
"Hiya" he replies,
I leave the door open and walk back into the flat allowing him access. My attire for today is my black strappy top, dark blue skinny jeans, my black converse grey coat. My hair is in a high pony tail at the crown of my head tied together with my black scrunch.
"Jamie is in the shower but he should be out soon" I smile,
"No bother, did you have a good night?" He quizzes,
"Yeah it was good, you?" I reply,
"aye, it was so good to see you" he smiles,
"You too, feels like forever" I state,
Jamie then walks into the room and disturbs whatever that was that was going on,
"Logan mate" he states before they give each other a weird handshake cuddle type thing,
"Can I have a word with you in private bro?" Logan asks before Jamie and him walk out of the room, how strange. I tidy up the rest of the living room before Jamie comes back in,
"Thanks for tidying hen" he smiles,
"You can tidy your mess up at mine when you're there next" I smirk,
"I've just been called out to work so I can't make it for food" he replies,
"Ok" I smile before Logan walks back in,
"Why don't you go with Logan?" Jamie asks,
"You want to Logan?" I ask,
"What?" He replies,
"Go for something to eat" I state,
"Aye, let's go" he smiles before Logan and I leave the flat before I get into my car and drive us to frankie and Benny's. I need food. We are placed at a table near the window and I'm glad I dressed up a little and put on my makeup since I'm actually in town. Since I've decided what I'm having I start to assess Logan, he must be about 26, single, a few tattoos, the posture of a rugby player with dark hair and green eyes which I can't stop staring at.
"Stop staring at me" he demands,
I look away automatically and I can't help but blush. Stop Rachael. You can't do this again, the waiter then times it perfectly to come to the table and she can't stop staring into his eyes which makes me laugh at the fact that we could be in a relationship yet she is still trying to flirt with him, typical.
"What age are you now?" He asks,
"22, you're 26?" I reply,
"Aye, I'm getting old" he laughs,
"You look good for an old man" I flirt,
"You look amazing Rachael" he replies,
"I hope I look better than last time you saw me anyway, I was over four stone heavier and I've gotten better at a lot of things since then" I laugh,
"You're still the same though, you're personality and that" he smirks, "still the bubbly, funny, sarcastic Rachael I once knew" he adds,
"Good" I reply,
The food soon comes after we spoke about films, work and life in NI before we decide to get a desert each and treat ourselves before going back to mine and sharing a date with Netflix. He seems like such a genuinely nice guy and I like that because it's who I need to be around just now. When we get back to the flat he picks the film 21 jump street while I get the sweets and fatty foods from the kitchen. I return and give him the food before we laugh, eat and spend the day really getting to know each other. This ends up causing a whole mixture of emotions laughter, sadness, happiness and overall I start to cry. Why do I always cry? Seriously. I'm such a wimp.
