Today is my year anniversary in Northern Ireland. It's weird having been here for a whole year now and I would be lying if I said I didn't miss Scotland. The weirdest thing about today is that I'm not even in Northern Ireland to celebrate it, I'm actually back home. Logan surprised me with a trip back home for our six month anniversary and I'm so thankful although I'm happy my hints finally got to him. We are staying in citizen M in Glasgow Central which I love and is another thing I've missed about this place. We are going out for a meal tonight which I'm looking forward to, I'm wearing my tight high waisted black disco jeans, my innocence black paisley tile print broxy short sleeve shirt with a pair of black vans and my cream coat. My hair is up in a high messy bun and luckily my makeup is sitting alright, thank you Scotland. Logan is wearing skinny-ish fit blue jeans, white pretty green polo shirt, burgundy Harrington jacket with burgundy Adidas gazelles. His curly hair is in it's usual position and I still think it makes him look so hot yet cute. We take numerous selfies and funny pictures to celebrate us before we head out to the restaurant and I just love even walking these familiar streets and feeling the need to sing 'Paolo Nutini- these streets' to top off the homecoming. I order pasta while Logan orders pizza, I honestly don't understand how he's so built, he eats junk all to the time and I'm so envious although he's never out of the gym. We are sitting across from each other with his hand in mine and I feel so smitten which really embarrasses me but I love it.
"You look so pretty Rach" he smiles,
"You look very handsome" I state,
"All for you my love, all for you" he smirks,
"Cute" I laugh,
"Six months is the longest I've lasted with any girl" he states,
"I know... Inexperienced" I tut,
"That is one thing you know I'm not" he smirks,
"Rude" I state,
"True though baby" he laughs,
"Thanks for putting up with me" I state, "thanks for putting up with Jamie, my Mum, Garry and my constant moaning. You deserve a prize" I add,
"I know" he laughs, "in all seriousness though Rachael, these past six months have been the best months of my life, every day I'm with you life just seems to get better and better. I get happier and happier and I love you even more" he states before leaning across the table and sharing a kiss with me. The food then arrives and since I've been given my surprise I've not been able to stop smiling, I look up just in time to catch him taking a picture of me and my pasta and his pizza before I get an Instagram notification saying
'Anniversary dinner with my lady in Scotland🚣😍❤️ #somuchfuckinglove'
"cute hashtag babe" I state,
"Always cute me" he laughs,
We finish the meal and spend our night laughing about everything and Logan never stops making me smile and laugh which is another thing I've noticed and I'm thankful for, him. I'm thankful for him just being the way he is. After the meal and the many laughs we take a walk along the Clyde river hand in hand.
"These past six months have been the best for me too and I don't think I say it often enough but I really do love you a lot" I state before Logan stops in front of me and wraps his arms around me which are always in a perfect position because of our heights,
"I know you do" he sighs before pecking my lips gently,
"This surprise was what I needed, I'm glad you heard my hints" I smirk,
"You made them a little too obvious that you wanted to come back a visit so I took the opportunity and made it a holiday celebration for the both of us" he laughs,
"Well thank you" I smile, "I've got a present for you when we get back to the hotel" I state,
"that" he kisses me, "sounds" he kisses me, "amazing" he kisses me,
"You'll see" I peck,
We walk along the river before sitting on a bench and people watching for a while spitting people who look like others from home and people who you can clearly tell how their feeling which is interesting. It's not long before we can't stand the cold anymore and decide to head back to the hotel where he can be given his best gift out of all the other ones I've bought him.
