I acc love this chap so much
✨squeeze✨"So what else can we do while we are out." Leah asked, swinging off a lamp post as she ignored her brothers comment on how she would probably catch an STD from it. (He shut up however when Dream reminded the human of the fact he did it himself on his drunken birthday exploration).
They had left the pub a few minutes ago and were aimlessly wandering the streets.
The night was still young... ish, and none of them really felt like going home. Or at least not yet anyway. They were all high off the dull buzz of alcohol and laughter; too awake to go to sleep yet too tired to form coherent or even vaguely sensible thoughts.
"Yeah, what does Gogy do in the nighttime." Sap asked, wiggling his eyebrows over at the Brit.
Dream still had no clue where the 'Gogy' nickname came from, and even from asking the human and his friends they seemed to have completely forgotten when it had started too. Just another thing to add to their little list of randomness.
"I sleep in the nighttime Sapnap."
"Yeah, with someone that isn't me." He sulked, making the others laugh.
"Anyway, there's gotta be something you can do in the nightime here, you seriously telling us you just sit in your apartment all day and do nothing? Poor Dream couldn't have ended up with a worse 'room mate'." She pitied, saying the last word with a longevity that was bathed in sarcasm.
"Okay I'm not that boring." The Brunette scoffed, turning to Dream for moral support.
"Oh no he's boring as fuuuck in real life." The demon replied with a smile, trying and failing to avoid the elbow George threw in his direction.
"I hate you so much." George mumbled, gravitating away from Dream as the walked.
"Sure you do Georgie, you know you... don't" Dream replied, cutting himself off at the end as he glanced over to where Sapnap was watching their interaction with slight confusion. "We could always go up the hill." He continued with a cough, drawing the Texans attention away from their conversation, changing the topic.
While the two others just looked confused George understood almost instantly, a flash of guilt and sadness crossing his face as he undoubtedly remembered the last two times they were up there. Let just say some memories were more pleasant the others.
"The hill?"
"Yes Lea, the hill." George replied with a shake of his head, plastering a smile on his face as he looked around him to try find out which direction their little spot was. Something made hard by the darkness around them.
Eventually however, while still leaving the others in their confusion, they began off in the direction of their little 'hill'.
They had long ago given up on the fact that it was actually a very large cliff. But who was there to tell them otherwise? I mean, Leah and Sap didn't even know where they were going yet alone know enough Geography to tell apart a cliff and a hill.
It was funny to remember how they stumbled around a map to try find it on their first adventure; watching the sun and laughing at colours George would never be able to see.
It was funny how they had gravitated back to that spot plenty a time only to discover a new memory, hear a new laugh or see a new smile. It was funny how a stupid aimless walk can turn into so much more.
"What are we even doing climbing up this hill?" Sapnap complained as they made their way up the worn down path that lead them to their little spot.
