Chapter Forty Three: Never have I Ever

Fun Fact: Just in case the non English people would like to see how many pubs are in the UK, that's all 60,000 of them, and in the ENTIRETY OF America there is 62,000 pubs, and when you realise England can fit in Texas 2.6 times, you realise how many pubs we really do have

"Wait so you're taking us to a pub?" Skeppy asked slightly confused as the group, now reduced to 7 walked down the streets to find a suitable pub to settle down in.

"Yup." Wilbur replied. "You can't go to England without having the authentic experience of a British pub."

"Well, there aren't a lot of pubs in America so I guess it'll be an experience." Bad explained with a shrug, making Wilbur laugh.

"Oh in England you're always within at least a 3 mile radius of a pub." The taller reassured, leading the way as they walked on, Bad and Skeppy looking between each other as if not really realising there could be that many pubs in such a small country. But yet again, it seemed England was just chocked full of surprises.

"So, how have you enjoyed Britain so far?" Niki asked the two Americans as they wandered around.

"It's been really fun!" Bad replied in his normal happy and cheerful attitude. Dream still found it had to believe he was the same demon that he had previously fought. "It was a lot of fun meeting up with Dream and George and it's even nicer meeting the entire group! Even if half of you are silly muffins." He continued with a laugh.

"Oh yeah, what did you guys do when you met up? Because it's obvious you didn't show them around." Fundy questioned, looking over at them with a look only Fundy would give.

"We just sat in a caffe and chatted really." George explained, shrugging his shoulders. "We didn't want to show them around everywhere and leave nothing to do today."

The others took on the excuse with a shrug of their shoulders and a wave of their hand, turning back to the task at mind.

"Why are we still walking? There's literally a pub right there?" Bad pointed out around a minute later, they had indeed just walked past a pub.

Wilbur stopped briefly, taking a look at the pub before waving them on. "Nah I got barred from their last time I went because apparently you're not allowed to drink them out of their vodka supply." He explained as they continued walking, Bad and Skeppy giving each other a confused yet worrying glance.

The thought of being barred from pubs aside, it wasn't that long till they found one they were actually allowed in and the group conversed in, Wilbur surprisingly being the one that lagged behind.

"Hey Dream, before we go in can I talk to you?" He called, Dream stopping behind George, casting him a glance before turning back to the other, confused at why he would want to talk to him but compliment neither less.

"Sure." The demon replied, putting his hands in his pockets as he walked over, trying to figure out why the human wanted to talk to him. He didn't think he'd done anything offensive or anything along the lines that would cause Wilbur to cast suspicion on him or anything. "So, what did you want to talk to me about?" He asked as he stopped by Wilbur.

"You like George don't you." He said bluntly, Dream looking back at him with the most shocked and confused look he could muster.

"What? What do you mean?" Dream replied. Was it really that obvious? Bad could only really tell because, well, thats what he does, but surely no human would have that power?

"Listen." He continued with a sigh. "George may be blind, but I'm not. You can't shit me. I see the way George talks about you, how you look at him which is cool and all, because even going on a dating show couldn't even get him someone. But do know that if you do pursue it, whatever it is. But do know that he is our friend, and you currently aren't, so if you hurt him in any way. You answer to us." He said it with a sort of sickly sweet sincerity that almost made Dream's skin crawl before patting him on the shoulder and walking back into the pub.
