HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHUUYA!!!

The Domesticated City life Chuuya and Dazai wanted Yukiko to experience growing up AU

Chuuya's POV

Scenario one:

Chuuya was nervously drumming his fingers on his lap as he sat on the couch of their small home.

Osamu was out— going to Yukiko's school after being called by the principal saying their daughter punched her classmate.

The seven year old has the spunk both her parents have— mainly Chuuya.

But because she did something very bad, Osamu was called from work to go to the school's guidance counselor.

They should be going home by now.

The door to their home opened revealing Dazai in a suit, Yukiko trailing behind him with her head hanging low.

"What happened?" Chuuya asked, making his way to the duo, whilst brushing his hands down his pink apron.

"Yuki-chan's suspended for two days." Osamu said nonchalantly, walking towards the kitchen. "The kid she punched has a swollen nose— she must've got that from you Chuuya~"

The ginger haired male's eyes widen, turning to look at his daughter whom in turn averted her gaze.

"Yukiko," Chuuya said calmly crossing his arms. "I'm not mad, just disappointed." He sighed.

"Tell, me why did you punch your classmate?"

The brown haired girl shifted her weight and fiddled with the hem of her uniform skirt.

"They were bullying Gumi..." She muttered.

Chuuya narrowed his gaze. "Why were they bullying Megumi-kun?"

"Papa!" The brunet cried. "They were saying mean things about him!" She explained.

"They said his papa and mama left him because he is... Um... Um.." she paused recalling the word. "Waste of space?"

"Well, that doesn't give you permission to lash out on them." Chuuya scolded.

"I tried to stop them from saying mean things to him!" The girl insisted. "I asked them calmly like you said.."

"Then they started saying bad things about papa and dad.."

His blue eyes softened as she looks up to him with teary blue eyes.

"They were being mean! Spreading lies about dad and papa!" The 7 year old cried "and they made fun of Gumi for his papa!"

"Yukiko," Chuuya choked. "We're having your favorite curry for dinner."

Her puffy eyes looked up at him. "Papa?"

Osamu watched proudly from the kitchen door, drinking a glass of water.

"C'mon," said Chuuya smiling and ruffling her hair. "Help me cook?"

Immediately the kid brightened up.

"Yes!!"

Scenario two:

Chuuya works part time as a barista in a cafe.

His savings from working in the mafia— as well as Dazai working for the Armed Detective Agency— based in Tokyo—  was more than enough to sustain their simple life.

They have a fourteen year old daughter who was a third year in Fukurodani Academy (combined Middle school and High School)

The door chimed open making Chuuya look up from the counter.
