In which: the ADA and PM attend Soukoku's n̶o̶t̶ picture perfect wedding.

Alternatively: an excuse of a sixteen year old to write the most obnoxiously sweet wedding vows they can think of yiiieeee

Also: My senior (aka irl Yamazaki-senpai) made me write a poem for Valentines day that's not "mapanakit" or angsty lol (it's posted in @ vanitas_writes_stuff 's account btw but it's in Tagalog so.... ) In other words, this is my attempt on a more romantic uhhh interaction or something. This will probably blow up on my face lmao

The venue was a relatively expensive one, because obviously Chuuya was the one who handled the organizing committee, not very much trusting to his to-be husband's sense of style.

Needless to say, the Armed Detective Agency (who was not much used to Nakahara Chuuya's fancy style) was overwhelmed by the ✨expensive✨ everything that greeted them. Well, except for Ranpo who made a beeline to the sweets table specifically reserved for him.

Fukuzawa follows after his son, and in a calm manner he reminds the detective not to eat too much since he still needed to walk the aisle as the couple's best man.

Ranpo rebuts that even if he ate too much, he will still have spare space in his stomach later.

Yosano went ahead of herself and conversed with one of the Port Mafia guests. Executive Ozaki Kouyou, and gushed over the brand of wines and the decoration of the place.

Kunikida reserved a seat for all of the Detectives and diligently checks his time awaiting for the event to start.

Kenji was with Kyouka bonding over various delicacies at the buffet area and Atsushi was running away from Akutagawa whom only realized he was not the only ring bearer.

Gin was trying to stop her brother from murdering his partner and staining the white and gold decorations with a bloody shade of red.

After a little while, the host for the reception— surprisingly Lucy Montgomery, asked everyone to go to their respective places.

Fukuzawa, Ranpo and not-so surprisingly Kunikida parted from the rest of their companions, the blond being confused by the notion but still complied to Dazai and Chuuya's sudden wish to have him as best man alongside Ranpo.

A government agent— Sakaguchi Ango walked first— as he was the one requested by the couple to officiate the union.

He was followed by the groomsmen who were some of Chuuya's close subordinates, a teary Tachihara, a very proud looking Hirotsu and surprisingly Verlaine who's out of his basement.

The ring bearers, Akutagawa and Atsushi, but Akutagawa was holding the rings and Atsushi was holding a basket of flowers.

Then the best men— Ranpo and Kunikida.
