Breakout

I know I've said nothing surprised me anymore, but I was starting to be surprised again. We were trusting our enemy. Soon we were on a private jet to Madripoor, where the famed Power Broker resided and the potential maker of the new serum that was making more Super Soldiers.

Zemo was taking this whole thing like we were off for a vacation in Monte Carlo. He sat back in his chair and relaxed as if he didn't have a care in the world. Bucky and I were sitting side by side holding hands, and I could feel his grip around my hand tightening.
He was tense, and to relax him, I cuddled up against his shoulder, and he held onto me. "We'll be okay. We'll be a team," I whispered with a smile. He kissed me on the cheek, "We make the best team," he flirted.
We saw Zemo was speaking to one of the stewards in Russian and then Sokovian, but we didn't think it was that important. "You have no idea what it's like to be in a cell. Oh, wait. You do," he said smugly. I disliked this guy more and more by the minute; actually, my hatred increased. "Why won't you tell us where we're going?" Sam asked, annoyed. "I'm sorry, I was fascinated by all of this. I don't know what to call it, but it seems important," he picked up Steve's notebook that was sitting on the table and looked through it curiously. "Who's Nakajima?" Zemo asked. Little did he know that he just made a mistake, Bucky got up from his chair with fury and looked at him dead in the eye, "If you touch that again, I will kill you," he said furiously. "Buck," I touched his arm gently. He sat back down next to me.
"I'm sorry," Zemo didn't seem sorry. "I understand that list of names. People you've wronged as the Winter Soldier," he observed. "Don't push it," I warned. "I've seen that book. It was Steve's when he came out of the ice. I told him about Trouble Man, and he wrote it in the book," Sam recalled. I smiled at the memory, and so did Bucky. "Did you hear it? What did you think?" Sam asked. "I like 40's music, so..." Bucky replied. I smiled at my husband. We then talked about how great 40's music is, and it was good to see things going in a light-hearted direction; that was until we landed in Madripoor.
