The following two weeks were totally busy, my supervisor had decided that the group should do as much as possible before they traveled to Malta. The changed schedules were everything else than just busy. Most of the time they were working from seven to midnight, not including the way home, resulting in tired and moody members. My own condition wasn't much better. Even I was actually tired, so Amara got to know every coffee shop near us. I had problems to focus after some time and slept in the car all the time I could.
Every move was torture and I assumed it was not just the busy schedule, but again I decided to ignore this for the moment."Guys could you please hurry?" The annoyance in my voice was unmistakable and my foot was bouncing impatiently while they grabbed their stuff and rolled their eyes. The one who was annoying me most that day was Jimin.
While everybody at least tried to hold up, he was just bitchy and took his time with nearly everything.
At the time we were stuck at the place of the photo shooting and needed to get to the place of the TV channel where they had another interview and performance.
A interview I didn't look forward to.
The show was mostly trying to get some dirty secrets out of the guests.
With a look on my watch I wanted to scold Jimin again, when Amara grabbed my arm and pulled me to the car calling for the members."Hurry up we leave in two minutes!" I saw Joon moving into Jimin's direction and the others following us, before she started whispering.
"Stop that! I know you are stressed, but so are they! Don't make it even harder for them." Another quiet sigh left my mouth and I rubbed my eyes, feeling the exhaustion coming over me again. Lowering my gaze, I heard the mumbling of the members."That's not what I want, you know that. I just feel so exhausted..." My voice broke and tears were swelling in my eyes. My head was just full, thinking about what would be next, what would wait for me on my desk in the office, what I had to catch up with.
Amara's eyes widened and she pulled me into a hug in front of the car. Switching into English she spoke again, making sure that Joon was still not around."Shhh ... Munhee, you can't keep this up. You have to tell them it's too much." I felt myself shaking and tried to calm down with slow inhales and exhales, but the feeling in my chest was still oppressive.
"No, it's just these two weeks. As soon as they are on Malta I can catch up and have some rest." My friend shook her head and let go of me. She looked like she was going to slap me.
"Munhee you are totally on the edge, you know how many cups of coffee you had today? Twelve. Twelve fucking cups of coffee! Yesterday you fell asleep while you were standing." The knowledge that she was right made me tear up again and I tried to calm her down.
"I know, but ..." The familiar deep voice of Namjoon was interrupting our argument, asking what was wrong while Jimin got in the car, and Amara bursted in anger.
"Your crush is overworking herself until she breaks down! That's what's wrong! Now get in this stupid car, I want to be done with this day as soon as possible!" Both of us were shocked about her outburst. She had never snapped before like this, and I could see the confusion of the members as the leader and me got into the car.
During the drive I got myself back together somehow, telling myself everything would go smoothly and without incidents."You are late."
The responsible manager was in his mid thirties and looked at me in annoyance. As he was right, I apologised for it and made the members hurry. When a staff rushed by his side he said, that he didn't expect much from women anyway in this job.
With gritted teeth I followed him, not saying anything about it.It wasn't the first time that men disrespected me in this job, and I never reacted to it.
Our make-up artists started working immediately and the members changed clothes, I made my way to the man and asked for the script of the interview.
