The world knows every bond between twins are one of a kind. The Joo twins are no different. Well a bit different. Fuck, the more she thought about it, the more Seokkyung realises that their twin bond are different.

Well not every twins got beaten up by their dad everyday right? Not every twins have to go through the fake death of their mother. Not every twins have to be punished and humiliated by their own mother for bullying someone, well not in that way. Not every twins have to see their mother marrying the adoptive brother of a girl they bullied who happened to be their mother's biological daughter. That's just fucked up, but it is what it is.

Seokkyung stares blankly into her phone screen. Separated. That describes her relationship with her twin perfectly. No more Joo twins going everywhere and doing everything together. He's in South Korea with their mom, their new stepdad, and their sister Hye-in, while Seokkyung is halfway across the world, thousands of miles away in a Korean International boarding school located somewhere in the UK that costs thousands of pounds a year.

Well this wasn't what she wanted. All she wanted was a peaceful life. She thought she had gotten that the moment their dad was dragged to prison and their mother returned. They were going be a functional family once again, just her, Seokhoon, and Mom. She even started being nice to Rona.

But a few months later things changed. She doesn't hate logan, but it's just weird, kinda. He proposed to her in her office, and broke the news to the twin on a dinner that same night. Seokhoon was shocked but congratulated them, and she just shrieked.

"EOMMA!! YOU'RE JOKING RIGHT?"

"Why would I?" Suryeon just chuckled it off.

So whether she liked it or not she congratulated them too. Although even after the wedding, the weirdness doesn't seem to decrease, at least to her.

Logan adores hyein. They've had a good foundation since he helped her mom smuggle her to the states. They brought her back to SK after they got married and after they made sure her devil of a father will leave the new family alone. Seokhoon is downright mom's favorite. An only son, he is a fucking dutiful one. He took care of everything, including comforting hyein when her condition wasn't as nice as usual.

She feels like Sung DukSun from that reply series. It's a blasphemy to her family's wealth but she is Sung DukSun in some ways. Left alone rotting in the corner, always having to sacrifice something for her siblings. No one in the family, not even seokhoon now, can seem to understand her.

She didn't know there was such thing until Lee Minhyuk told her that. Speaking of that brat Lee Minhyuk, he finally found his way and became a better human being, of course after he was put into his place by none other than Shim Suryeon. That's how they ended up friends again, along with Jenny too. Eunbyeol just went poof without a notice.

She sighs. She misses her friends. They used to get into mischief together. No not mischief, more like crimes. But whatever they got away with it anyway. Not really

But it won't matter. It was about time she does something for herself too. Although this boarding school doesn't seem to be doing her any good, especially when she has to deal with a bitch as her roommate.

Heck even Seokkyung can't believe they really sent her away. One single sentence, and they sent her away.

She didn't even mean them, well she might have meant them, but that's not the point. The point is, she said that accidentally.

They had a point, but do they really think an obnoxious teenager would wipe away her old habits entirely in only a few months? Especially when people around her keeps triggering her and ticking her off to her limit. The point is, people make mistakes, she made mistakes, and they weren't helping.

Her biggest mistake was saying that out loud in front of them. Saying that there's still a part of her old self in her.

She gets it that her mom wants to take on her role as their mother more seriously. She gets it that her mom wants every mistake her children made to have consequences. But THIS?! This was unexpected.

At first she refused to believe that they're gonna send her away just like that. But as days passed, it gets so real that she realized it's not a dream, she's getting sent away.

She is sent away.
