Dreams

"I've had this dream before," I hummed to myself as I looked around at the familiar room. This was my bedroom, in my dreams at least.

"Oh? Have you?" At the sound of the familiar voice, I turned to face its owner.

"Well, you're new." I gave Lev a smile as I looked him over. Appearance-wise, he looked exactly as he did in reality. But this was a dream, so there was no telling how he would act. "So tell me, what will happen this time?"

"Hmm? Don't you know?" He gave me a smirk. Not his usual cute idiotic grin, but a mischievous smirk. That definitely wasn't Lev's smile. "You're in control here. It is your dream, after all."

I laughed a little to myself as I looked at him a bit closer. "Sorry to tell you, but it doesn't work that way." The same silvery hair... the same green eyes... that unreal height... As much as I tried to find one, there was no physical difference between this Lev and the one I knew. "Just because I know it's a dream doesn't mean I'm controlling it. I like to just let my dreams do as they please."

Dream Lev was amused by my answer. "So tell me then, what do you wish for me to do to you?" he hummed, leaning towards me. "Or shall I simply take control myself?"

"Does it really matter?" This wasn't reality. No matter what he did, I'd simply wake up. If he became scary, I'd just force myself awake. If I enjoyed whatever happens, then I'd wake up when my alarm clock decides it's time to get up. "It's just a dream."

Dream Lev looked even more amused now. "Oh? So I assume you won't mind if I do this..." In mere seconds, I felt my back pressed against the soft fabric of my bed. His hands had a firm grip on my wrists, trapping them above my head.

"Really?" I was joking around like there was nothing wrong with this at all, but in all honesty, this was a position that left me very vulnerable. "We're in a dream and you're just going to tackle me and pin me to the bed?"

There was a mischievous gleam in his eyes. "Oh? You want more from me?" I was just asking for trouble... but hey, dreams can't actually do anything to you, you know?

"I never said that."

"But you're not denying it."

Dream Lev leaned closer, our faces just centimeters apart. Keeping his eyes locked on mine, he kept me trapped there. After a moment, he leaned in, pressing his lips onto mine. It felt no different than when the real Lev had, but it wasn't quite the same... this wasn't actually Lev...

His hands soon began to roam, finding their way under my shirt. If there were any doubts before, it was clear now. This for sure wasn't Lev. Even if he looked and sounded just like him, he wasn't Lev. Even still... to think of him as not being Lev was hard. Even if my mind knew it, nothing else seemed to.

"You're a terrible girl..." Dream Lev purred in my ear. His voice sent shivers down my spine. He leaned in close to my neck, kissing it lightly before nibbling. "You let me do as I please at this moment, yet you so coldly pushed me away before. All I'd meant to do was tell you how I felt. And now here we are and I'm having my way with you."

"That's because you're just a dream right now," I pointed out. While his body was identical to the real Lev's, the personality was all wrong. "You're not really Lev. I just don't feel that way about him."

"Liar," he growled, biting lightly at me. This wasn't like the real Lev. "Why do you think I'm here?"

"You're not him," I repeated. It was almost like I was trying to convince myself more than I was him. "You just have his voice and his body."

"So you're saying that if I were in someone else's body... let's say Yamamoto's... you would still be so willing to let me do as I please to you?"

"I-" I wanted to argue with him, but I couldn't. If he had been someone else, I probably wouldn't be so easy-going about what he was doing right now. "No... Not if you were Yamamoto..."

Dream Lev kept an unreadable gaze. "And if it were Kuroo?"

"No..."

"Or if I were Shibayama?"

"I... no..."

"And why do you think that is?" Dream Lev leaned in, his whispered voice next my ear. "I'm him because you-"

My eyes fluttered open slowly. What a weird dream... Glancing at the clock, there were still a few hours before I had to get up. Rolling over, I closed my eyes and hoped for a dreamless sleep.
