Bad news

*Joleighs pov*

Last night was such an amaizing night. It was so romantic how Soda kissed me under the fireworks. He is one of those romantic boyfriends that every girl can dream of. I just am glad I can call him mine.

Soda and I are on the couch holding hands and Pony and Madison were cuddled up on the couch, and the rest of the gang wasn't there yet. When all the sudden there was a knock on the door. I knew it couldn't have been Marissa and Two-bit or Dally and Breanna because they just would walk in. When they knocked again Madison shot up."Oh, that's my friend." We all looked puzzled. Madison opened up the door and a skinny girl with long brown hair and hazel eyes walked in. A long with a boy who was super skinny and has those cheeks every girl wants. He also had short brown hair with green/hazel eyes. "Everyone this is Skyler, and her boyfriend Gavin." Madison said. "How ya'll doing?" Pony asked. "Hey Ponyboy." Skyler said as she hugged Pony. "Pony back off she's mine." Gavin said. "Calm down Gavin she's my fiend I love Madison more than anyone." Pony said. "Awe Pone." Madison said kissing him on the cheek. "Well still Skyler is mine I love more than anyone or anything so I am just overprotective, and I just don't want to lose her." He said looking down. "Baby you won't lose me I love you so much and I would never leave you for anyone." Skyler said as they grabbed hands. "Babe I love you." Gavin said as he kissed her. "Awe, you two are like soul mates. Hi I'm Joleigh." I said smiling. "Hi nice to meet you." Gavin said shaking my hand. "Hi glad to meet you." Skyler said. "Hi I'm Sodapop I'm Joleighs fiance." Soda said as he put his arm around me. "Nice to meet you both." Skyler said. "So how old you guys?" Soda asked. "We both are 17." Gavin said. "Awesome." Madison said.

After like an hour the rest of the gang showed up and they met Gavin and Skyler.

*Madisons pov*

So Gavin and Skyler finally met the gang. Then Skyler and Gavin left they said they were "running errands" but we all now that means sex. haha. We got up to get dinner when Pony said. "Madison you look like your losing weight." "I don't think I am." I said. "Go look." Pony said as he pointed to the bathroom. "Alright." I said heading to the bathroom.

When I weighed myself it showed that I had lost almost 15 pounds. "This can't be right." I said to myself but I guess I said it to loud because Pony came in. "What's wrong?" Pony asked. "I lost almost 15 pounds." I said confused. "Babe it's okay if you lose a cople of pounds. You don't need to be worried." Pony said puting his hand on my shoulder. "Pone I am not worried just I didn't do anything for me to lose that weight." I said. "Maybe your pregnant." Pony said laughing. "Pony you don't lose weight when your pregnant you gain it." I said going wide eyed. "Not all the time. Darry said that when my mom was pregnant with me she lost weight." Pony said laughing again. "Pony! I'm still a virgin!!!" I said to him. "Good! I am to." Pony said. We both started laughing super hard.

When I went home with Two-bit and Marissa I started to feel sick. "Uhh, Two" I said. "What's wrong?" Two-bit asked. "I don't feel so good." I said. Next thing I know I throw up all over the floor. "Oh no. I'll get the mop" Marissa said heading toward the kitchen. When Marissa came back she cleaned the floor and Two-bit said "You are going to make a great mom someday." and kissed her. "Guys I really don't feel good." I said. "Do you have any pain?" Marissa asked. "Well aroud my stumach hurts but I think that's fro throwing up." I said pulling the blanket up. "I'll check your temp." Marissa said. "Babeit's in the bottom drawer." Two-bit yelled. "Okay thanks." Marissa yeled back. "Maddie I think you are sick you are pale." Two-bit said. "Yeah." I said. "Here put this under your tongue." Marissa said handing me the thermometer. Beep beep. The termometer was ready to check. "Woah 102.3" Marissa said. "Should we take you to the doctors?" Twho-bit asked. "No just make me a doctors appointment tomorrow if I am not better." I said almost falling asleep. "Alright night baby girl." Two-bit said kissing my forehead. "Night Two." I said. "Night Rissa." I also said. "Night honey." Marissa said hugging me.

*Marissas pov*

Two-bit and I woke up cuddled next to eachother we went downstairs and checked on Madison as she started to wake up. "How you feel baby girl?" Two-bit asked. "I still feel sick." Madison said. "Alright we're going to the doctors." I said.

We went to go to the hospital haha Madison was in the tipical I don't want to do anything outfit. She had her hair in a messy bun which she did't usually put her hair up and she had on one of Two-bits big jackets on. When we got to the hospital she got blood drawn, her tempature tooken, and a lot more tests don too. "For what I can see right now is that she has the fllu and should be in bed rest. We won't gt the test results until Monday."The doctor said. '"Okay thanks doc." Two-bit said.

We left and when we got home we ate lunch and clalled everyone to tell them. We heard a knock on the door and it was Pony, Soda, Joleigh, and Darry. "Hows she doing?" Pony asked. "Good she's over there." I said pointingto the couch. "Madison sat up as coughing, and Pony looked down at her. "Baby feel better, heres some roses for MY beautiful rose." Pony said handin Madison a boquet of roses. "Aww Pony." Madison said as she hugged him."Hey ya'll  know we just got here but we jabe to go I don't wat anyone else getting sick." Darry said. "Aww ugh ok." Pony said as he kissed Madison on the cheek. After everyone left we decided to watch some Mickey.

*Monday*

It's  now Monday and the phone started ringing. Two-bit answerd. "Hello." Two-bit said. He put his hand over his mouth and tears filledhis eyes. "Okay thank you." Two-bit said wiping his eyes."Whats wrong Two-bit?" I asked. "Sh....sh...she has lung cancer. They said they think it's from secondhand smoke." Two-b said crying. I couldn't help but just ball. Madison is like is gonna be my sister in law soon. "She starts cemotherapy next wednsday." Two-bit said as we hugged. "She'll be okay Two-bit we shouldn't worry." I said hugging him tighter. Justthen Madison came down. "What's wrong?" Sh asked. "Madion sit down." Two-bit said. We all sat down on the couch Two-bit put his hand on Madison's shoulder. "The doctor called eariler.....and told us you..you have lung cancer." Two-bit said as th tears flooded hs eyes again. Madison reacted the same way"D..did they say what hey think caused it?" Madison asked. "They said itwas caused by secondhand smoke." I said. Just then Madison ran out the door. "Madison!" Two-bit yelled. Two-bit tried torun after her but it was to late Two-bit ran ovr to me and put his head on my shoulder and cried.

*Madisons pov*

Two-bit told me that the doctor called ad sai that I have lung cancer. After he told me this I couln't help but run out the door. I went to the park because I had just to much on my mind. What is Pony gonna do when he finds out? What amI gonna do? I don't want to die not yet. Theres so many thhing I aint done or seen. I am to young. I sat here crying for about an hourr when someone ran up behind me a scared me. It was Pony. "What's wrong? Pony asked. "Pony I love yo...you know that riht?" I asked as i wiped my tears. "Yes I do.....Why?" He asked looking conused. "And I would never leave you on purpose." I said looking into his big green eyes. "Maddie whats going on?" He asked looking very confused. "Pony.....I have lung cancer." I said holding my tears back. "Are you serious?" Pony asked with his eyes wide open. "Yes and I found out it's caused by secondhand smoke." I said looking down. "Maddie no this can't be." Pony said as a tear went down his face. "But it is Pony." I said as I got up and started cring on his shoulder. He and I were hugging and he had his head on my shoulder as I had mine on his. We were crying on eachothers shoulders.

Hey, I know I said I would update more often but I have had some prsonal stuff going on but anyways hope oud enjoyed it. Will Madison be okay? What will happen when the rest of the gang finds out? How will they react? I'll make my next chapter either tonight or tomorrow. Keep reading.
