Vanessa POV

*Beep Beep*

Finally my 18th birthday!! Ahh I'm so happy. I quickly got out of bed and hurried to find my best outfit. What if I find my mate? I have to look beautiful. I hurried to do my daily routine and headed downstairs.

"Hey Mom! Bye mom love you"

"Wait hold up young lady where you going?"

"To school."

"Why are you in such a hurry sweetheart?"

"What if I find my mate?"

"Honey you scared me. I'm sure your mate will be a nice young man. If you find him today let me know ok."

"Ok Mom"

To Bestfriend: Where you at?

When I closed the front door there I saw my bestfriend. She had a cake in her hand with a big smile on her face.

"Happy Birthday Bestfriend"

"Thank you bestfriend"

"You Welcome. Ok lets go."

"Where?"

"A Place."

"School?"

"Its your birthday and you want to go to school?"

"Yeah?"

"Ok no. We can go to school during lunch time ok. Enjoy your morning. Lets go to the park and eat this beautiful cake."

"I like that Idea lets go."

After hanging at the park for a while, Sandra decided to take me to the mall. We decide to get icecream and then head to school. I was really craving ice cream but then again when wasn't I.

"Hey Sandra we need to be heading to school. Lunch time is almost over we should have been gone since a while ago."

"Ok Mother. Lets go"

When I got to school people were heading to class. I quickly got out of the car and ran to class. When I finally got to my seat and sat down the teacher said

"Please take your homework out."

But I looked to my side and remembered I had ran into class forgetting my things in Sandra's car. Well she never locked it so the car was open.

"Mrs. Watson may I go get my homework I left it in the car."

"Ok. But let this be the last time. The next time you forget it I wont let you out."

"Yes Ma'm"

I quickly got out of class and headed to Sandra's car. When I opened the door and got my stuff. I heard a car parking in the parking lot. My heart started to beat harder. But not in a scared way but in a good way.

I quickly shut the door and headed to the car. When I was walking that way I saw a girl with a crop top and a mini skirt, if you could call it that, it was barely covering her bottom. When I got closer I smelt the most pleasant smell in the whole world.When the door got shut. The person behind the door looked up. When our eyes met it was magical he was so handsome but then I realized I was looking at the one and only Jake Turner. I guess he noticed who I was because his eyes was wide in shock.

"Mate" is all I could say

Then he grabbed me by my shoulders and pushed me onto the car. When he touched me I felt sparks. I knew I belonged by his side. My mate.
