So Now You Want Me?

Chapter 5

VANESSA POV

I was in the living room watching tv. No one was home not even my mother. I then saw the door open. It was Jake. He looked really mad and their was sadness in his eyes.

I was up in a second and I followed him to his room. He shut it in my face but I opened it anyway.

"Jake."

"Oh now what?"

"Are you ok."

"Do I look ok?"

"No."

"Then why are you asking stupid questions."

"I was j-- Never mind. Ill leave. I'm sorry I bothered you ."

"WAIT!"

"Yeah?"

"Can you come sit beside me"

"Sure."

We just sat there quietly.

"So are you going to tell me whats wrong?"

"My Dad he is in the hospital. He's going to be there for a while. The doctor said my dad should stepdown because it is to stressful for him. That means I need to step up to the position of Alpha. But I'm scared I don't want to let my dad down and I'm also so scared to lose him."

I grabbed him by the chin and made him look me in the eye.

"You wont lose your dad, Jake. He is a good man. He is just stressed. He needs a break. Soon this will be all over and you wont even remember it. Plus,You have everything that it takes to be a Good Alpha. I believe in you"

I wiped the tear that was slowly going down his beautiful face.

We just looked at each other and then he was leaning forward. 

Then his lips were on mine. They were soft just like the first time. 

He then pulled away just a little. 

"Thanks you don't know how much that means to me"

He then crashed his lips on mine again.

One thing lead to another and then I was in happy land.

When I woke up I looked right beside me and he wasn't there. I then heard the shower turning off. he then came out from the bathroom. He was so hot.

"Hey" I said blushing

"Hey, um I need to talk to you about something."

"Yeah sure."

"Um about last night. Don't tell anyone. This was a mistake , I don't want you thinking this means something that it isn't. Ok."

I should have known. I was a fool. My eyes got watery.

"Oh.. Ok.. I understand."

I got my clothes and my tears were falling on my cheeks. I headed toward the door. Before I shut it completely I heard him say

"I'm sorry"

I'm at the hospital , Sandra said that we had to come. Its been a week since Jake and I made love, and I've been throwing up and getting really bad cravings. I told Sandra it wast anything to be serious about but she wouldn't listen to me. The pack doctor told me if I had sexual intercourse. I turned red but nodded my head shyly. She then said she would take a pregnancy test. I said sure and she left.

I'm now waiting impatiently. I want to know already!

There was a knock at the door.

"Come in"

"Hey Vanessa, We have the results. Congrats you are pregnant."

I didn't know what to do or say. A pup from my mate.

Sandra came to my side and hugged me tightly.

I looked at the Doctor

"Thanks but can you keep this a secret? No one must know."

"Ok as you wish."

"Thanks" 

I grabbed my purse and left with Sandra right behind me. 

"Vanessa I have to do some things in town. Wanna come?"

"No thanks can you leave me at the pack house?"

"Sure."

I got out of the car and got my key out of my purse. I then oped the door. There was Jake about to head up stairs.

"Jake!'

He stopped and turned around.

"What do you want?"

"  I have to tell you something really important. Its about us."

"Vanessa I'm so sick and tired of you. Why don't you understand there is NO us."

"WHY! Why don't you accept the fact that we are mates. "

I tried to grab his arm but he pulled himself back.

"Don't you dare touch me you disgusting thing."

"Its because you're scared right? Because you feel it too?

"What are you talking about?"

"I know you feel the sparks and the pull our mate connection has"

"Oh Ill show you sparks and pull." He said

I thought he was going to come crashing his lips on me.

But he didn't. From the corner of my eye I saw a girl coming. 

He grabbed her by her waist and kissed her so hard. He almost devoured her whole. My heart was breaking. 

Jake Pov:

"I know you feel the sparks and the pull our mate connection has."  she told me

"Oh Ill show you sparks and pull"

I grabbed the first girl that walked by and kissed her. I tried to devour her face in front of Vanessa. To get her off my back. But it didn't feel like Vanessa's kiss and this angered me. I kissed the girl I had in my arms even harder. The girl then wrapped her legs around my waist and I held the girl and took her upstairs. But from the corner of my eyes I saw Vanessa's watery eyes and this made me feel a feeling I did not like. It made me feel bad. So when I got into my room I let go of the girl and went to the door to make sure Vanessa wasn't there. When I saw she wasn't I told the girl Id call her later and told her to leave. She just winked at me and left.

Vanessa was different today. There was something I just couldn't put my finger on it. I didn't like to see her sad. 

I was only being hard on her because I didn't deserve her. She didn't deserve someone like me. She deserved so much better. I loved her but I knew I would just hurt her 

and that was the last thing I wanted to do
