Chapter 7

VANESSA POV

When I arrived to North Carolina it was very relaxing compared to the city. It was like the country side. When I got to my aunts house I was kind of nervous. I hadn't seen Aunt Maggie in a while.

*Knock Knock*

The door opened it was a red head tall looking lady.

"Um Hi is my Aunt Maggie here?"

"Vanessa?"

"Yes?"

"Its me, Its your Aunt Maggie.!!"

"OMG I'm so sorry I didn't recognize you. You've changed so much you look even more beautiful. "

"Oh look at you , my gorgeous little niece. Come on in. Make yourself at home."

"Thanks, so when do I meet the alpha? Is he ok with my staying here? I don't want to be a bother."

"Of course you're not babygirl. We will meet him tomorrow. You must be tired Let me take you to your room."

"Thanks Aunt Maggie"

"No Problem hun."

I couldn't sleep. I got up from my bed and went outside for a walk.

I was wondering what Jake was doing at this exact moment. Could he have already gotten my letter? I don't know why I even bother thinking about him. He doesn't care about me.

I was to busy with my own thoughts I didn't realize I had bumped into someone's chest. I looked up and I saw one of the most beautiful blue eyes I had ever seen.

"You pretty one should watch where you're going"

"I'm sorry I didn't see you. I was thinking about other things."

Wait did he just call me pretty?

"Wait did you just call me pretty?"

He laughed

"Yes, something wrong with that?"

"No its just no one has ever said that to me."

"Well they should have. What's your name?"

"I'm Vanessa and you?"

"I'm Timothy but you can call me Tim."

"Ok, Tim" I said smiling.

"Want to walk together. I can show you around. I can tell you aren't from here."

"Yeah, sure"

The rest of the night I got to know Tim. There was something about him that made me trust him and he made me feel safe.
