After a lengthy conversation which shifted between (m/n) chewing y/n out about not checking in and making sure she was ok, (m/n) informed her daughter that (s/f/n) and she were at their new house and she would send her the address. "But don't come here until they get that big baby under control," her mother concluded. "And check the news for updates before leaving where you are now." Y/n ended the call agreeing to be safe. She picked out some scrumptious (favorite/flavor) scones and paid for them. The kind woman told y/n that she was welcome to wait inside the store until the big baby was brought under control. Y/n thanked her for her kindness but said she should probably get going because she had to help her family unpack.

"Alright, stay safe." the woman said as a farewell. Y/n waved as she balanced her pastries in one hand and opened the door with her back. She had just stepped outside when a group of pink swirls came and rushed around and over her. As they passed broken windows and other items that were wrecked during the big baby's rampage through the streets they repaired. It's like magic! she thought. Y/n began walking towards the address her mom texted her when a blue haired girl ran past her. The running girl turned around and just barely caught the bag of pastries that had fallen out of y/n's hands.

"I'm so sorry!" she apologized. "Are you ok? I'm so clumsy."

"I'm ok," y/n responded taking the pastries back from the girl. "I'm y/n. What's your name?" The girl replied that her name was Marinette. Marinette... Why does that sound familiar? Shaking out of her thoughts y/n realized that Marinette was talking. "I'm sorry, could you repeat that?"

"I was just saying that I should probably go. I have to get to school."

"Oh! Yeah, no worries. Bye!" The two girls waved good bye and headed in opposite directions.

Y/n arrived at the address which would be her home for the next couple of years. It was a gorgeous two story house.

Y/n walked up the front steps and knocked on the green door. Her mother opened the door and took the bag of pastries from her daughter. Walking in to the empty house, y/n saw a bathroom to her left. She quickly ducked in and did her business. Still drying her hands on her pants, y/n exited the restroom and went into the kitchen. She grabbed a doughnut and plopped down on the floor.

"The truck with our stuff should be here by the afternoon." (s/f/n) informed them.

Licking her fingers, y/n got up from where she had ate her doughnut and went to explore the house some more.

Starting at the front door, y/n turned to her left and saw the bathroom and next to it was the dining room. Across the hall from the bathroom was the living room. On the right of the living room was the kitchen where her parents currently stood. Y/n walked up the stairs which started in the dining room and lead up to a hallway. Walking down the corridor she passed two doors on the left and one on the right. Peeking in to the one on the right she saw that it was the master bedroom. The two doors on the left opened into a bathroom and bedroom. Inside the bedroom y/n saw a door. Curiously, she crept over and opened it. Inside she saw a staircase. She climbed the steps into a spacious attic with a quaint window looking out onto the street.

This would make a cute bedroom, she thought. I wonder if it could be my bedroom. Y/n hopped down both flights of stairs and looked for her parents. She found them outside on the front steps.

"Can I have the attic as my room?" Y/n asked excitedly. Her parents looked at each other. "I don't see why not." (S/f/n) said. (M/n) nodded. Giving her parents a big hug, y/n thanked them. She ran back up the flights of steps and into her soon to be new room. The excited girl started mapping out how she wanted the room to look in her mind.
