Music To My Ears (Luka Couffaine × Reader)

Chapter 18

A/N: Hey, Muffins! So sorry about the long wait but here is another chapter. Also, I just started watching season four of Miraculous so I will start adding facts for that as I write but for now I'm only on episode 4 so no spoilers!! Enjoy :)

Chat Noir and y/n reached the Eiffel Tower in record. Y/n was amazed at how free she felt flying over the city despite holding onto Chat Noir. The two landed on the top of the famous landmark and gazed out at the city. 

"It's so peaceful up here," Y/n said breaking the silence. "It's nice to be able to get away from everyday struggles. I bet you do this often."

Y/n looked over at Chat Noir who had a sad smirk on his lips. "Not often enough." he whispered barely letting Y/n hear. 

Hmm how can I cheer him up? 

"What's your favorite thing to do when you are Chat Noir?" Y/n said changing the subject. 

Chat Noir put on a thoughtful face. "The end of the day after Ladybug and I have saved Paris once more. Seeing that we have saved Paris and it's inhabitants another day is the best feeling in the world. The 'pound it' Ladybug and I do every time after a battle is super boosting." Y/n smiled at this response. Most heroes responses probably would've been something like "the fame" or "all the fans" but not Chat Noir's.

"Is there anyone else on your team, or is it just you and Ladybug?" Y/n inquired.

Chat Noir smiled a genuine smile. "It's usually just Bugaboo and-" "Bugaboo?" Y/n interrupted, holding back a giggle. Chat Noir slapped a hand to his head. "Yeah, that's my nickname for her." 

"Aww, that's cute. Does she have one for you?" 

"She calls me Kitty." Chat Noir responded blushing deeply.

Awww they must be dating!

"So are you two an item?" Y/n asked raising an eyebrow. 

Chat Noir appeared flustered for a moment revealing some of the Adrien behind the mask. "Not yet," he said smoothly slipping back into a Chat Noir state of mind.

Y/n laughed and looked back at the blue sky. She heard Chat Noir clear his throat beside her. 

"I didn't answer your question about the other team members. We have Carpace, Rena Rouge, Queen Bee, King Monkey, Viperion, Pegasus, Ryuko and Bunnyx. But they don't get to keep their miraculous like Ladybug and I do. We only give it to them when we need them like if we need Pegasus's teleportation powers or Rena Rouge's illusions."

Y/n asked Chat Noir to go into more depth about each of the heroes. Chat Noir obliged and told her everything except the secret identities. Chat Noir was telling a story about how he and Ladybug once had to save a runaway train from outer space when he was interrupted by a call from Ladybug. Chat Noir answered "I'll be right there."

He put the phone away and stood up. He informed that Mr. Pigeon had been akumatized for the 69 time. He dropped Y/n off a couple blocks away from her house so that her parents wouldn't see and then started off to help Ladybug. Y/n called out for him before he left. 

"I just want to say thank you. For hanging out with me today, I mean. It would've been pretty boring without you." Y/n said smiling. 

"Yeah, I'm glad we got to know each other better." Chat Noir said returning his companion's smile. 

"Have fun with your Bugaboo." Y/n said teasingly. Chat Noir departed with a blush and wave. Y/n started walking home when suddenly she felt a hand squeeze her arm and yank her into an alleyway. A hand covered her mouth and a gruff voice whispered in her ear "Make a sound and I hurt her." Y/n looked and saw B/F/N sitting limp on the other side of the alley. Y/n stiffened and started to sweat. 

What am I gonna do?
