(F/d/p): favorite doughnut place
(f/f): favorite flavor(Y/n) slowly came back to consciousness as the car slowed to a roll. Looking at the clock, the tired girl saw that it was only 5:43 a.m. (Y/n) slowly stretched and yawned. As she did this she saw the airplanes arriving and taking off. Soon I'll be on one of those. She thought without much emotion. It was time for them to leave America and go to the famous Paris. Her subconscious must've been trying to make her feel better because she kept dreaming of finding her "one true love" there. But that was stupid because her life wasn't some cheesy romance novel.
(A/n- I've never been on an airplane so this is what I think it would be like.)
(Y/n) must've fallen back asleep because the next thing she knew her mom was gently nudging her shoulder and telling her that they had to go check in. (Y/n), who was half-awake, unbuckled her seatbelt and stumbled to the trunk of the car to get her bags. She only brought the one bag and one carry on.
When they got into the line to check in, which seemed to stretch on for miles, (y/n) felt more awake as they inched closer to the check-in desk. There was a dull buzz as people arrived and rushed around to get to there entrances to board their plane. After about 45 minutes of standing in line, the small family reached the check-in desk.
"Please set you bags on the luggage carousel as you walk through the scanner." Asked the exhausted looking security guard. (M/n) went first, followed by (y/n), with (s/f/n) bringing up the rear. The family each got their carry-on bag back, but saw the suitcases getting out on a cart with other suitcases to be brought to the cargo hold.
The family proceeded to sit in the waiting area having time to kill since the plane wouldn't be boarded for another 2 hours. (Y/n) brought out her wallet from her bag and went to find some doughnuts for breakfast.
As (y/n) was walking around she spotted a (f/d/p). Squealing a little bit, (y/n) sped walked over and got in line. After ordering a dozen (f/f) doughnuts (because she knew her parents would want some) and paying she turned around to walk back to her parents and crashed right into a boy.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" (Y/n) exclaimed embarrassed. She bent down to clean up the doughnuts and saw the boys shoes walking away. Of course he doesn't say anything or help. Thought the doughnut covered girl sarcastically.
Then she heard the sound of foot steps coming towards her. Then a paper towel was put near her hand.
"Here, try this." It was the boy she bumped into. "Also, don't worry about the mess." His voice was smooth, like ice. It was kind of soothing and persuading too. (Y/n) felt like if her told her to jump off of a bridge she would do it.
After the doughnuts were cleaned up, (y/n) looked up at the boys face. He had black hair with blue tips at the bottom. His ocean blue eyes were swimming with life. His clothes consisted of black, ripped jeans and a picture of what seemed to be a rock star on it. He also had a blue hoodie on. (Y/n) admitted to herself that she was checking him out.
"Thanks for the help! I really appreciate it." (Y/n) said. The boys eyes traveled over her face, studying her. However, it didn't seem like he was only staring at her outward appearance. It seemed like he was looking at something inside her. Like her soul.
"It's ok. Don't worry about it. You may have given me inspiration for a new song." He finally responded.
"You're a musician?" (Y/n) asked stupidly. Of course he's a musician. He just said he writes songs. (Y/n) gave herself a mental slap.
"Yeah, I'm in a band with some of my friends." The boy said.
"That sounds cool." I told him. After a few seconds of standing there awkwardly, (y/n) continued "I should probably get going. My parents will probably start to worry."
"Wait, let me buy you some more doughnuts since I bumped into you." The boy responded. (Y/n) tried to decline and say it wasn't necessary but the boy insisted. Eventually, (y/n) ended up with 12 new doughnuts.
"Thank you so much." (Y/n) said with a smile. "You really didn't have to do this."
"Nonsense. It was only fair since I bumped into you and you gave me something. Inspiration. Something I've been needing for a while." The boy grinned.
Exchanging good-byes, the two walked off in separate directions holding their doughnuts.
Arriving back with her parents, (y/n) noticed some writing on the side of the box.
Here's my number: xxx-xxx-xxxx Call me sometime.
-Doughnut BoyWith a content grin on her face, (y/n) bit into her first bite of the sugary goodness.
"(Y/n), don't you think that 4 doughnuts a person is a lot?" (M/n) asked her daughter knowingly.
"Yes," started the daughter, who was already reaching for her second doughnut. "That is why you and dad each get 3 and I get 6."
(M/n) sighed and (s/f/n) gave a hearty laugh.
A/n: Hi! I hope you haven't forgotten about me! *grins shyly* sorry it took so long to update. I haven't really had any inspiration lately but I figured I should try and write. And since it had been so long since I updated I wanted to give you guys a special treat so I decided to bring Luka in a little early. Yes, you will find out why he was in America but not for a few more chapters. Also, as I'm sure you can tell by now I have a very strong sweet tooth so get ready for more yummy treats in the future; both edible and cute surprises (and not so cute surprises;) ) Anyways, thank you so much for being patient with me and I *hope* to have another chapter out by the end of the month. School has just been really tough lately. Love you and see you in the next chapter, Tabby!❤️
