-Monday morning-
"Can't you just tell the principal that I have to help you guys pack or something?" (Y/n) pleaded as she scooped up the last bite of her Lucky Charms.
"Very funny." Said (m/n) in a tone that was full of sarcasm. "You are going to school today. (S/f/n) and I can handle the packing until you get home."
"But I have a math test!" (Y/n) started as if this was all the convincing her mother needed.
"All the more reason you need to go." The stubborn women responded, handing her annoyed daughter her backpack. After slipping on her shoes and getting a kiss on the cheek from her mom, (y/n) dragged her feet to the bus stop. She plopped down next to (b/f/n) and chatted until they arrived at school.
-timeskip-
Standing in line for food, (y/n) felt a hand cover her eyes.
"Guess who!" Said the voice. (Y/n) giggled and said the name of her other best friend. Amber stayed with (y/n) and walked with her to their usual table in the corner after they got their food.
"That math test was a pain in my butt!" Complained (b/f/n) when Amber and (y/n) sat down. (Y/n) nodded in agreement.
"I have math next period. Wanna give me some tips?" Amber complained with a wink.
(Y/n) and (b/f/n) laughed. "Here's a tip: none of the answers are 'C'" (b/f/n) obliged.
(Y/n) felt bewildered. "Number 3 and number 16 were 'C'...."
(B/f/n) groaned, "Ugh! This is why I've failed math this year. You aren't sitting next to me so I can't cheat off of you. It's your fault I'm going to fail and not be able to become a senior!"
(Y/n) raised an eyebrow. "You think I wanted to get sick on the first day of school? It's the only day of the year where we don't have homework!"
(B/f/n) considered this logic and agreed. The bell rang signaling the end of lunch. The girls put their leftover food into the trash can and waved good-bye heading to their separate classes.
-timeskip to after school-
As (y/n) was grabbing the book she needed for history homework, her phone vibrated with a text.
Mom👸
On your way home can you stop at the store and get some boxes for packing?(Y/n)
Sure, it might be a while though because I'm going to the mall with Amber and (b/f/n)There was a few seconds of silence before her phone dinged with a response.
Mom👸
Alright- just be home by 6😘Sending her a thumbs up, (y/n) joined her friends outside of the school.
The girls gossiped the whole way to the mall.
"They were roommates!" Shrieked Amber as the group stepped into the mall. (B/f/n) had been letting the girls in on a fiasco that had happened with her older sister, who was in college over seas, and her aforementioned roommate. (B/f/n) shook her head in disgust.
After a few stores had been fully scoured by the girls, they stopped at one last store to pick up the boxes for the dreaded packing.
-timeskip-
(Y/n) abruptly stopped as the front door of her soon-to-be old house neared. She turned to face her friends and as soon as she met their eyes, broke into ugly sobs.
"I'm going to miss you two so much!" She bawled. Her two friends couldn't stand to see their friend in pain pulled her into a tight hug and cried with her. (Y/n) held her friends tight for a few more minutes before finally letting go. They stared into each other's tear-filled eyes and remembered all the fun times together. Saying goodnight the girls went their separate ways. (Y/n) stumbled through the door, set down the numerous bags and got ready for bed.
After showering and eating dinner, (y/n), (m/n) and (s/f/n) packed up the rest of the furniture they could take with them. The only things left to pack were clothes and everyday necessities. (Y/n) retired to bed around 11:00 p.m. fully exhausted and dreading waking up early for school the next morning.
A/n: Hey guys! Sorry it's been so long! School starting and everything has taken first priority so chapters won't be coming out as quickly as the first few did. I know this chapter was a bit shorter and nothing really interesting happened but next chapter will hopefully make up for it. I am also going on a 12 hour car ride on Thursday so I should have plenty of time to write! Till next chapter, Tabby!!❤️
P.S. I know this isn't very professional but I can't remember if I put this in the story or not but they are leaving Wednesday. As in 2 days from today in the chapter. Again, I know this isn't very professional but I needed to say that😅
