"You have to sweetpea."
"But he'll never let me see her again."
"You don't know that."
"Yes I do. God why do I always fuck up."
"Hey. Listen here young Lady I will not allow you to speak about yourself like that under my roof."
"Daddy what am I going to do?"
Doctor Green put his arms around his daughter as she cried into his shoulder.
"You going to go over there and take Emma home."
Rachel let out a loud sigh
"He's going to hate me."
"No he's not.......Rachel...Can I ask you something."
"Yes."
"Do you still love him?"
"Yes" Her voice was so quite it could barely be heard.
"Then if you really do love him you'll do the right thing."
"Your right."

"Hi."
"What do you want?"
"I-I came to apologise and bring Emma home."
Ross takes Emma by the arm and gently pushes her inside.
"You can keep your apology for court."
"No Ross please. I-I am really sorry. I had no right to take Emma I just.... I just wanted to be with her.
"What so you thought taking your child away from her father and keeping her at your fathers house was the right thing to do just so you could get what you want. Do you have any idea how selfish you are? Did you ever stop to think about what Emma wants."
Rachel takes a step back feeling intimidated by the one man she ever loved.
"I guess I didn't no.....Look Ross I don't want to take any legal action okay. We can just go back to the arrangement we had before all of this."
"No."
"What?"
"I'm sorry Rachel but how do I know your not going to take Emma and leave. Whatever trust that was left between us it's gone. I'm sorry but this will have to be dealt with."
"Ross please...I-I made a mistake okay I didn't mean to take her away from her home...From you I was just upset and hurt. I wanted to protect her."
"Protect her from what Rachel she's safe here with me and Julie!"
Ross watched her flinch as he raised his voice. He didn't want to do this to her but he had no other choice. After everything that had happened he couldn't risk losing his daughter.
"I'm sorry."
Before Ross could even reply Rachel had turned around and ran down the steps leaving the apartment building.

"I-I"
"Oh my god Rachel are you okay."
Monica opened her door to find her friend hyperventilating. She placed her arm around her shoulder and pulled her into the house.
"Hunny you need to breathe okay, deep breathes."
Once Rachel had calmed down Monica brought her into the kitchen and got her a glass of water.
"Now tell me what's happened."
"I.....I fucked up Monica it's all over."
"What do you mean? what did you do?"
"I basically kidnapped Emma and wouldn't let Ross take her home."
"What why would you do that Rachel? Are you crazy?"
"I did it because I'm losing her Monica!"
She was startled by the loudness of her friends voice and watched as the tears flooded her face.
"Your not losing her Rach."
"But I am. She doesn't need me anymore Mon and after what I did she definitely won't be needing me.... I-I can't even take care of her anymore I mean the other week I was looking after her and I had a complete breakdown in-front of her. God......I-I can just feel her slipping away."
"Rachel no matter what happens you will always be Emma's mother."
"But she doesn't need me Mon. She has Julie and Ross and their perfect little family."
"Rachel do you still-"
"You know Mon I'm sorry for just barging in here like this I should go."
"No Rachel wait."
"No I should go I-"
"Rachel! Why would Emma's family be Ross and Julie?"
"Because they're together and probably going to get married I mean he's probably proposed by now."
"Ross and Julie aren't together."
"What?"
"Julie came back to the city and needed a place to stay so Ross offered to let her stay with him. They work together that's all."
"But Ross said that they're dating."
"Believe me Rach, they're not. Chandler said that when he asked Ross if they were together he said that Julie had made a few moves but he shut them down immediately."
"Then why would Ross tell me that."
"I don't know Hunny."
