Love, Mates and other Mistakes

*George's pov*

"Wait a second. You haven't noticed it?" Vick questioned me.
I could get a single word out so I just shook my head.

This can't be real! My mate can't be a vampire! That's just not possible.
I thought to myself while walking over to the couch.

It was to much of a shock for me.
My mate was a vampire. Okay just a half vampire but still. This was changing a lot. If my people find this out they could lose there trust in me and no longer want me as there alpha. Then again if the vampires knew about it they could try to manipulate me or black mail me. This was a big deal, specially considering my position as an alpha.

I let my self fall onto the couch and massaged my template.
Lukas, Vick and Julius had started to bickering and insulting each other. They were getting on my nerves so I yelled at them to shut up. They did and then just starred at me until Lukas came closer and asked "George what is going on? Why is this leach here?"
"Don't calm him that!" I hissed back at him. It made him flinch and back away slightly.

I sight and then looked away.
"Just leave me alone. I have to think."
He nodded, took his bag and then left in a hurry.

"Well...ahm....then we are leaving too." Vick stammered and slowly backed away.
"NO! You are not!" I growled and then pointed at Julius. "He leaves but you stay. We have a stuff to talk about."

They looked at each other for a moment. Julius then just shrugged and walked away.
Vick yelled after him that he was fucking traitor but when he heard the door close he sight and walked over to me.

"So...is it a problem for you that I'm a vampire?"
"Yes and no. I think I'm just shocked right now."
He nodded and set down next to me.
"Yeah I was too when I noticed that you are a werewolf. I even though you would kill me."
I starred at him in disbelieve.
Even just the thought of ever hurting him felt like someone was trying to rip out my heart.
He was a vampire, yes but he was also my mate and that meant that I would do anything to protect him and make him happy.

I reached over and put my hand on his cheek. He in return turn his head towards me so we were looking at each other.
"I would never hurt you." I promised.
He smiled and then replied "Me neither."

Then he sight and shook his head. "This is so messed up."
"Yes fate is really messed up." I agreed
Vick then looked at me with a twinkle in his eyes.
"Yeah fate definitely fucked us and definitely not in a good way."
It took me a moment to process what he just said but then I couldn't help my self and broke out into laughter.

"Seriously?" I ask in between fits of laughter.
"What don't you know the saying 'when life gives you lemons, kick life in the balls and stuff the lemons down it's throat' ?"
"Vick that's not how it goes."
He looked at me with a huge innocent smile and then started laughing as well.

When I was able to composed my self again, I whipped tears from my eyes and then while still chuckling a little, I turned to look at Vick again.
His dark eyes where now a vibrant purple and in his mouth I could clearly see his sharp fangs.
How I hadn't been able before to tell that he wasn't human was a mystery to me because it was clearly visible.

When he noticed me staring he raised an eyebrow and ever so slightly tilted his head.
"I just noticed that your eyes aren't dark blue like I thought but instead purple." I explained with a gentle smile.
"Oh yeah I got them from my mom site. That's why Julius has the same eye color."
I blinked and then asked confused if Julius was his brother.
"No he is just my cousin. His mother and mine were twin sisters."
"Oh" I then awkwardly shifted around and said "I'm sorry that I almost beat him up. I didn't know he was part of your family."

"Nah don't worry he deserves a beating once in a while. It keeps his ego from growing to big. Also  you know.... well you looked kinda hot... I mean also scary but still like in a really hot way..."
Even though he had quietly stammled the last part I still had heard it. So I decided to tease him a little.
"Sooo you think I'm hot. How hot exactly from one to ten?" 

His cheeks turned red then he looked away.
"Hey I'm just joking there is no need to be embarrassed. We are mates so it's just natural to be attracted to each other."
I reached over and gently rubbed my thumb against his cheek.
In response he looked at me again with a soft smile.

Then without thinking I just leaned over and kissed him. When our lips brushed against each other it felt like heaven to me.
I pulled away a little bit in order to see if he was okay with it but almost emidietley Vicks arms were around my neck and he pulled me back into a passionate kiss.
I guess he is more then okay with it.  I thought to myself.

He then climbed onto me straddling my lap.
My hands slowly trailed down his back until they were resting on his hips. Then I felt a slight sting on my bottom lip. I tried to tell him not to bite me with his fangs but my voice was muffled by his tongue entering my mouth and exploring every inch of it.
He then started to rub his groin aging mine while shamelessly moaning.

I felt slightly overwhelmed because of how dominating his behavior was but I was also enjoying it way to much to complain.
I grabbed his butt cheeks and knead them. That made him moan even louder.
His lips then slowly trailed down my neck, nibbling lightly on the skin but then in between kisses I heard him breathlessly mumbled something that almost emidietley made me freeze.
"Shit. I want to fuck you so badly."
