Hope you guys like it.

*Viktor's pov*

"What?"
I swallowed hard and then slowly stepped back, to get some distance between me and the creepy guy.
But he just mirrored my movement, making a step towards me everytime I moved backwards.
"This is werewolf territory." He growled, showing his crooked, yellowish teeth.

"I... uhm... I know but..." I stuttered and looked quickly over my shoulder to see if I had a chance to run. My heart clenched when I realized that I was only inches from stumbling of the sidewalk and into traffic.

"But what?" He stopped right before me and crossed his arms over his chest.

Okay don't panic! You got this. Just  come up with an good reason why you, a vampire, are in there territory even though the peace treaty is currently suspended....
Fuck! I don't know!

"Uhm... well you see... uhm...I..." I stuttered.
He grabbed me by the collar and yanked me towards him, so that our faces where uncomfortably close.
I even had to stand on my toes.
"Spit it out you fucking leach or I make you." He snarled.
His hot breath that smelled stronly of garlic, made me almost puke.

I took a shaky breath and then just blurted it out.
"I want to see my mate! His name is George Greenwood!" Then I added with a whimper "Please don't hurt me."

The guy seemed stunned for a moment but then he abruptly let go of me making me stumble backwards.
I slipping on the wet concrete and almost stepped over the curb but thankfully the guy was fast enough to grab my arm and pull me back.
Even though I fell against him and grabbed onto him for support he didn't move even an inch.

When I looked up I saw his golden brown eyes that had been hidden by the baseball cap, for the first time.
They were almost the exact same color as George's.
I just couldn't help my self and keeped on gawking at him. It had been definitely to long that I had seen George. Even this small similarity already was to much for my brain to handle.

Only when he said "Be careful kid" I realized how strage I must have behaved.

I emidietley moved a little bit away from him.
"Uhm...yeah. Thank you." I mumbled and lowered my gaze.

"No problem" He replied with a toothy grin and ruffled my hair.

We stood there awkwardly, neither of us knowing what to say next.
Thankfully the rain had died down to only a slight drizzle.

"So...uhm...you want to go to George's place?" He asked, tilting his head slightly and gave me a strange look.
I shifted uncomfortably under his gaze, then nodded.
"Yes...do you know where he lives?"

He gave me a creepy grin and then padded my shoulder. "Ofcourse I know where he lives. What kind of cousin would I be if I didn't knew that?"

It took me a moment to process what he had said but then I blurted out "You are George's cousin?"

He nodded while grinning proudly. "Yeah and that means, if it's really true and you are his mate, we are family."

"It's true." I affirmed him.

He hummed and tilted his head. "We will see. Let's just get you out of this rain first. It wouldn't be good if you catch a cold, right buddy?"

With that he started walking away, motioning me to follow.
I hurried after him. It was difficult to keep up with his long strides, making me slow jogging beside him.
I gave him a once over, noticing similarities between him and George.
They were around the same hight, even though George was definitely fitter than this him. Because where my man had an awesome sixpack, this guy had more of an beer barrel. He also seemed a little bit older than George, maybe in his early fourths.

We walked a few blocks in silence when I got an idea.
If he really is George's relative I should probably try to make a good first impression or at least try to fix what I already messed up.

"I'm Viktor by the way." I said,  mustering up my most charming smile.
He didn't even glanced my way instead he just keeped on walking.
"Uhm it's nice to meet you...." I tried again to get him to talk but just like before he ignored me.

We rounded a corner and I stopped dead in my tracks.
Right before me was a dark, shady looking alleyway.
He seemed to notice my hesitation because he turned towards me and said "Come on. It's a short cut."

Ever fiber in me told me that this was probably the most stupidest thing I had ever done but I was determined to see George no matter the cost. So with wobbly knees I walked into the alley.

I sighed in relief when we had almost reached the end.
I turned towards the guy to thank him but that was when an overwhelming headache hid me, almost as if my head had been hit by something.
It was so painful that my knees gave out under me and I feel to the ground.
The last thing I saw before I blacked out was the tall man bowing down to me.
