Your breath was raged.
You were shaking.
Tears were rolling down your face.
And all this was happening because you were being held at gunpoint. But it wasn't by some supernatural being. That wouldn't've bothered you. What bothered you was it was Dean, your boyfriend of a year. He had a stern look on his face that meant he meant business. You tore yours eyes away from Dean for a brief second to look at Sam. He was just as scared and confused as you were. Neither of you knew why Dean was acting all strangely.
"Dean please" You tried to reason with him again but he wouldn't listen.
"Don't move" was all he said, it was all he ever said when you and Sam tried to get him to stop, tried to get any answer out of him. Sam had even tried forcing the gun off of Dean but that only landed with Dean shoving Sam hard into a wall, punching him repeatedly, until he gave in. All the while you were too scared of Dean to do anything, you couldn't even move out of fright.
Of course you had stayed still and not moved, your feet were basically stuck to the floor, you wouldn't move, didn't dare to move. Dean was scaring you and you didn't think you would get out of this.
"Dean please" You pressed again, when he was about to talk, you cut him off. "Please stop this. I don't know what has gotten into you but please stop. If stopping means shooting me..." You sniffled before pressing on, "then do it. Kill me if it gets you to stop" You didn't want to die but if it was to make him stop, then it would do more good than bad, or at least that was what your mind was currently telling you.
Sam spoke up "Y/n! Don't say that!" He wanted to do nothing more than to run up to you and take the fall but he knew what Dean was capable of, as he had experienced it first hand.
To your surprise, Dean spoke up. "Maybe I will shoot you, because you aren't my girlfriend" Dean readied the gun to shoot and you closed your eyes. Even though you were confused as to why he thought you weren't his girlfriend, you didn't feel like it mattered. That was, until Sam interrupted.
"What do you mean she isn't your girlfriend? Have you lost your mind?!" Sam stepped forward, "She is still your girlfriend, She has always been your girlfriend and my best friend. The only one who is different is you Dean"
Dean seemed to take in Sam's words and his eyes softened slightly. Sam noticed that there was some sort of little pouch in Dean's back pocket. He carefully reached forward and swiped the pouch out of his pocket. He showed it to Y/n.
"Hex bag" He spoke before lighting it on fire. You both looked back to Dean who's expression changed from harsh and unforgiving to worried and regretful.
You fell to your knees and burst into tears. You didn't know why you were crying, but you assumed that they were tears of relief that you were still alive and that you had Dean back. Sam hurried over to you and pulled you into a hug, assuming you needed to hug someone and Dean probaby wasn't a fan favourite at the moment, even though it wasn't his fault. You cried into Sam's shoulder.
Dean felt extremely bad. He looked at the gun and then at Y/n and Sam. He remembered everything. The monotone 'Don't move's, beating Sam up, watching Y/n cry in front of him while he continued to hold her at gunpoint. Slowly but surely, he lowered the gun to the floor, before turning around and walking towards the door.
"Wait!" Y/n called after him, "Please don't leave...I just want to talk things out" She stood and made her way over to Dean. She sniffled "I know you blame yourself for all this but this isn't your fault, you were under a spell. I burst into tears back there because I thought I lost you but I hadn't. Please stay..." Dean turned to you and nodded, not saying a word.
You took his hand and lead them over to Sam. You knew that things won't be okay for the current time being but you would make sure things got better.
