Protector from nightmares

You had just awoken from a nightmare and couldn't get back to sleep. You didn't want to wake your boyfriend of two years, Dean Winchester, but when you looked at him, he was already looking back at you.

"Sorry I woke you" You whispered to him.

"It's okay baby" he smiled tiredly before rubbing his eyes "What's wrong?" he asked

"I had a nightmare..." You spoke and he nodded, bringing you into his arms.

"Want to talk about it?" He asked and you nodded.

"I was being tortured and everything that happened was coming from behind...there was this one noise that" you shivered "really scared me. I have no idea what it was" you said, subconsciously looking behind you.

"Do you want to lay with your back to me, I'll protect you" he smiled

"I would but I wanna cuddle into you" You smiled sheepishly.

Dean chuckled "alright" he scooped you into his arms, making you squeal in shock and he placed you onto the bed and hovered above you. He pulled the blankets up over his head and leaned closer to you. "Now no one can get my princess...they'll have to go through her knight in shining leather first" he said and kissed your neck, causing you to giggle uncontrollably

"Thank you my knight. I love you" You took his head in your hands and kissed him.

"Anytime Princess, I love you too" You soon fell asleep, more than contempt with the love Dean made you feel for him.
